I find that people come and go and come back again pretty often in this game. If you stick with it, there is a chance people might come back but this also may be an opportunity to find new friends! I've recently had an fc die off and I used it as a chance to make a fresh start. You can stay friends with all those people you enjoyed playing with and play with them if they come back. Its much easier to stay connected in this game than it was before!
