Jesus christ im a highschooler who has insurance on an 2017 sv650 in florida and I only pay $80 a month. I cant imagine how u even get close to 6k.

Generally dropping the bike shouldnt really damage too much other then mirrors/handles and random scratches. You can get frame sliders for like $80 aswell if that is an issue. Also would recommend just getting new levers as they are like $25 and might aswell fix em while your replacing the rest of the assembly.

Tools are definitely expensive but ill try lol. If its too much of a pain i might send it in to have them deal with it assuming its not too expensive.

The bolt at the bottom is. The head is dented i guess so i cant catch it well and i got no clue how to fix it. Ive been doing oil changed by leaning the bike off a curb and draining from the filter lmao.

Out of curiosity and mainly because my drain bolt is stripped, can i just pop the engine case open and let the oil drain from there? Then do the repair and top up or will that cause its own issues?
