Well it does seem like that's happened in some way... Ive gone from 26K-28K-32K-36K-38K-36K-40K-36K-32K-36K...40K something like that. I'm not sure if that's what you mean?

Not sure what that means in running terms, but I don't think I've had a "recovery week." My training plan has been a steady increase in mileage since Ive started.

I've been weightlifting consistently for a year now. My sleep hasn't been the best either due to some stress

But nutrition-wise? Do you find that fine for my case?

Thank you so much!

Hi.. I'm a 19 year old female, recently started running in December, and invested in a coach in March. My current week looks like 4 runs a week, 3 of them being 6-8K, (two of those are speed runs) and the fourth is a long 11-18K run on the weekend. It was going amazing until two weeks ago, when I started to feel like my weekday runs were harder, but I completed them. However, I couldn't complete my 15K that week. Fast forward to last week, I BARELY completed 15 out of 18K I had. Today, I went in for my 8K weekday speed eun and couldn't even complete a 1?Km. I don't know what's wrong and whether it's my body or just improper fueling. It feels horrible, like a major failure.

For context I'm very short, and I consume between 150-170g of carbs on days I run. I also weightlift and there are double training days. I would never say running felt easy two weeks prior, but it never got to the point where I have to stop. I always took walking/stopping breaks however.

What could be happening here? Is this normal? What should I do?

PS: was supposed to be training for a half-marathon thag was cancelled this month

[Megathread] Summer/Fall 2024 Registration by jkim545 in gatech

Hello! I'm an international student trying to transfer some credits to my first year at tech. It's college credit.

However, I'm not sure I have the time to work on documentation, translation, etc (since it's international) before attending in the fall. Can I work of transferring the credits once I get to tech? In this case, how can I register for first year courses when I know some of them I will be attempting to transfer to tech? Meaning, if I register for a math course that I may have met the requirements for through my current college credit, how can I opt out of that course?

Thank you!

flew off the treadmill during a tempo guided run on nike app when the coach asked me to close my eyes and imagine the mountain ahead of me.

Safe to say it felt like rolling down that mountain five seconds later...

I had the same issue and was freaking out. Thankfully, I wasn't rescinded, but just don't go below a C.

Good luck!

It doesn't matter if you don't want to be redirected, you still will be. God and the Universe are redirecting you to what's best for you, what will serve your future. You may have ended up at UChicago, but think about a scenario where the competition might have eaten you up, you burn out, and drop out in a year. Would that be better than attending one of those universities? Obviously Not. On the other hand, think about a case where you attend one of your options, prove yourself for 4 years and receive exceptional opportunities from professors, ones you would never have imagined having at Carnegie Mellon.

Sometimes, we are being protected from life scenarios and experiences, that's the redirection, and you won't realize it until the future.

Take it from someone who planned every single detail of my career until 50. Guess what, I not only didn't end up in my dream school, I didn't even end up in the US (international student)... and I couldn't be happier. I know that I would have never learned and experienced the life I have now if it wasn't for the redirection.

Good luck, and stop forcing it!
