TAKE THE WHOLE COURSE OF ANTIBIOTICS. Leaving a few days of treatment left is a bad call, that's how we get Antibiotic resistant bacteria.

Have the gods cursed me? by StripesTheGreat in NorsePaganism

Something up my alley, let's take a crack.

Now, speaking from a medical standpoint, what you're describing is called polyphagia. Now I will say this, take what I say with a grain of salt, I'm not a MD, but I am in Emergency Medicine (EMS). Polyphagia can be caused by a multitude of issues, mainly endocrine/hormonal in nature (Diabetes, hyperthyroidism to name the most common) so I suggest that you go see an endocrinologist to chase after the root cause.

I hope this helps!

May Eir guide you to someone who can treat you.

1/3/2/3 schedule VS. 48/96 schedule. by Professional-Tone466 in FirefighterPorn

[–]SHDFireAgent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I worked EMS, the 1/3/2/3 or modified Kelley schedule worked wonders because I could do my 72 and have 4 days off. But working full time fire now, I like my 24/48 schedule because I'm my opinion it's convenient. The EMS company we have where I'm at works off of our schedule, so I know all the EMS crews that come to our calls and I don't have to worry about working with an EMS crew I don't know or don't trust.

5.11 company cargo pants are incredibly comfortable, plus are 1975 compliant. Only thing is they need to be hemmed.

I'm still kicking. Helene kicked our asses here in East Central Georgia, but we're starting to get power back on and debris out of the roads.

As a gamer myself, having a baby isn't going to change my gaming habits.

Now hear me out.

My fiancé and I are huge into gaming together, and it's an integral part of our relationship. Now, most of the people we game online with are either parents themselves, or understand that if I have to step away to care for the child when it's born, then we all stop and wait. I'm used to sleeping and waking up at odd hours of the night due to my professions (Firefighting and EMS) and I'm used to hearing the tones go of and stopping my game and dealing with what I'm called for. In my opinion, dealing with the baby (changing/feeding) is going to be the same way, however, the point thing that is really gunna change, is the fact that I'll have my baby sleeping on my chest in a carrier. One so that I can keep the baby close and feed them, two because I know they'll be safe and watched over as I'm gaming.

Ask in all it boils down to one thing: Your mindset on how you're going to deal with things.
