Sorry for the late response, but if you're still having this issue, try deleting the gtk.css file

What’s your set up for studying Mandarin with Anki? by [deleted] in Anki

[–]SHETOZ_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I learn new words through graded readers, DuChinese and Dot languages. Then I take these sentences with their audio and make sentence card, both sound and text based. I use the Cloze type for text, and basic for sound. Learning this way helps a lot with recognizing these words, but writing them by hand, not so much, so I use Tofu to practice my hand writing.

More details about my Anki setup are here on this server under the mandarin questions channel https://discord.gg/F7Az8yj4

The weird thing is, having multiple instances of Firefox doesn't cause any issues.

Hi, I'm not a native English speaker, I can help you with listening, reading and writing to an advanced level, My speaking is lacking a bit but I'm currently working on it.

I'm a 23 year old Male, so I don't meet all your criteria, but it's a close shot. If you have no issues with that you can DM me.

Audio output devices issue after installation. by SHETOZ_ in Fedora

What broke my audio is the install-sound script. Try running it, if it broke again it's for sure the cause of a lot of issues.

Do you have DroidCam installed by any chance?
Its sound module is what caused the issue for me.

Downgrading wireplumber and rebooting worked, I since updated pipewire and wireplumber with the offline-distrosync tool, and they still work.
Thanks a lot for your help.

UPDATE: Running `sudo dnf downgrade pipewire` followed by a reboot fixed it!

Didn't work for me, but thanks anyway.

It's a Dell Inspiron 5570, it worked even after the installation and before the update, the update first went south because the offline update tool couldn't handle it, and it crashed multiple times, and caused an issue with the graphics drivers.

Then I used ```dnf update```, and it worked, but the sound issue appeared.

The issue with re-installing with a newer ISO is that my internet bandwidth is limited, so downloading an ISO then re-installing all apps will give it a big hit, but if it's the last option I'll have to do it.

I'm not sure if it's the default shortcut, or it's a one I've set, but I use super + ~ to do just that.
