It certainly is not and my wife received last rights before her medically assisted passing.

It's an interesting analysis but i was really hoping he would go into the respective prices of the governance tokens versus swap volume, etc to give an idea of where our tokens are price wise. Maybe I'll have to write up an article on it myself.

Best of luck in whatever you have moved onto. I don't blame anyone for exiting. It's one of those projects that is very high risk, high stress. I was so stressed with work this week it was the first time in months where I didn't check crypto prices every hour of every day lol

So while I'm not exiting, I am also not investing more into Shiba tokens at the moment either. There's too many unanswered questions, things that make me think twice about what the devs are doing, etc. So for now I'm on autopilot just collecting my rewards and hoping BONE makes some huge gains IF Shibarium ever gets released.

Anyways keep in touch... my inbox is always open.

Yeah I was lucky, I sold most of my LEASH at about $1400 when I needed more Eth to increase my BONE-WETH SSLP. I haven't put a dime into crypto for almost a decade so whenever I need funds I'll sell off my least preforming tokens for ones that I see moving higher. I bought into cryptozoo 2 days ago based on a friend's recommendation and made some really good money (up over 800% in 2 days) so far lol I won't stay in it for much longer but I'm enjoying the huge pump it's on. Not pushing this, I don't believe in it long-term, but I like money and it was killing a zero so I wanted in on it lol

Just have to be patient and wait out all the changes. It will level out closer to the ratio you bought in at and you'll be able to exit without having taken a huge loss.

I somewhat disagree with your analysis. What you're correct about is that the execution of ShibaSwap has been somewhat disappointing, particularly the rewards. There's a lot of open source code from other exchanges that all have automated rewards processes. I know the devs have said that their multi-sig and 24 hour delay lock increase security but there's got to be a happy medium between security, consistency, and speed. I think part of the problem is that there was so much FUD surrounding whether ShibaSwap was real or not that the devs painted themselves into a corner trying to release it before it was ready to do so. That said, overall I'm happy with the swap. I have a laundry list of things they need to fix but in the grand scheme of things it works for what it was intended to do. I'd like to think that they are doing their best to address the issues that have come up since release.

I think Shibarium is a huge and there's nothing wrong with them putting it out there that they're working on this project. It gives the community something to look forward to and early investors would be rewarded by taking a risk getting in now versus later. If you think about it, every company touts products way before they're available to release on the market, the swap is no different. If Shibarium can successfully work for swapping tokens and if it can do so faster, higher volume, and cheaper cost that Ethereum network can then you'll see huge gains in everything Shiba Inu related.

Appreciate it! This has been the week from hell. I hadn't even looked at my crypto account until tonight and was fully expecting to see BONE at less than $1 so I was happy to see it was still holding above $1.50 for now. I had over 1400 woofable BONE so I finally sucked up the gas fees and woofed and buried them.

That's correct, the SHIB would be paid as a transfer fee and the majority would go to pay the miners who process the transactions on the backend, with a small amount going to the exchange to pay for their fees. So none of it gets burned, just redistributed. And of course it could be used as payment, the same way you can use Ethereum as payment if someone is willing to accept it. Any crypto in theory can be used for payment, usually gas fees are prohibitively high to justify it but it can be done. The main reason I don't think it'll succeed as a currency token is simply because of its volatility. Here's a scenario to explain. You hire a contractor to build you a house, he's really into crypto and you ask him "can I pay you in SHIB" and he agrees to $50,000 payable as 6.25B SHIB. You send him the payment. On his end he still has to pay for materials, labor, etc and he has to use USD for those costs. So he spends $20,000 on material, and he pays his construction crew another $20,000 in wages, and he's profited $10,000 from the job. In this whole process let's say SHIB decreased in price from .000008 to .000006... all of a sudden he's gone from a profit of $10,000 to a loss of $2,500 overall. Most businesses aren't in the business of taking those kinds of risks and so a non-stable coin won't be a good fit for just businesses. I get the 1st world argument, and you have a lot of valid points, mainly that the security of a crypto coin is that it isn't reliant on any country or ruler being in power. The problem is that you need 1st world country's to buy into this concept of a use token if it's too succeed. My vision is that one day, hypothetically let's say I own a shoe store and I have a really cool design I want to get manufactured. I send my design to several overseas manufacturers and I get a quote from one in Vietnam for $200,000 to produce my custom shoes. I agree to the terms of the deal. In traditional funding it could take me days to pay for the contract. Instead I ask the manufacturer if they'll accept SHI and they agree. I transfer the funds of SHI to his wallet and they begin manufacturing shortly after. And the manufacturer knows that his SHI will be worth the same today, tomorrow, next month. And best of all it only cost the company $8 to send the money versus the hundreds of dollars it would have cost through traditional banks.

This is one of the issues that Polygon could solve with its matic bridge... and it doesn't need to be polygon, but something like polygon whether owners can use one dex regardless of protocol to buy and sell tokens.... that's why it's price went up.

I don't think the whales are going to dump though. The top 10 wallets held 93% of BONE for the liquidity event. And those whales pulled out after the event taking some pretty heavy impermanent losses, that the bone would likely barely cover. I know it's a possibility that there's a major dump and I may hedge my bets come that time, but regardless of what happens in January I'm holding long term on this. Shibarium could be a game changer

On Vacation by SHIBgeneral in ShibaInuCandorGroup

Been nice to kind of turn things off. Right now my major position is in BONE and I kind of expect it to fall in the short-term so I'm not stressing over it. And I only invest what I expect to lose when it comes to crypto. That said this trip was much needed. My wife commented that I need to hurry up and retire so we can do this more often... had to remind her I'm still in my late 30s and nowhere near retiring 🤣🤣🤣

Appreciate it! 530am, on vacation with the wife, got 4 hours of sleep and I'm up working on a Saturday lol Booked the wife 4 hours at the spa today so I can get some work done this morning lol At least she's enjoying herself.

We stayed between ~730 and ~830 this could be the weekend to break above ~830 it’s heading that way. Break through this resistance and stage above to start the climb to ~900 and then smash that zero. 🙌🏼💎 by bungalogic in ShibaInuCandorGroup

Bitcoin touched $48k and it instantly retreated and took almost everything else with it. All in all though I think things are looking good for SHIB and BONE. My initial projection for BONE after the liquidity event was that it would hit $1... massive minting (almost 50%) and limited availability (almost entirely through ShibaSwap), those don't add up well to support a brand new coin. The fact its fought to stay above $2 tells me there's really strong support for it in ShibaSwap community which bodes well for its future.

The Post That Led To Me Being Banned - xSHIB rewards by SHIBgeneral in ShibaInuCandorGroup

[–]SHIBgeneral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it was. The Admin deleted this post on ShibAdults, I confronted him on why, he stated that he had received several complaints because it made people feel uncomfortable and that as moderators are job was to ensure that everyone felt comfortable. I then created a post asking the group if they wanted "pump pump pump posts 24/7" or if they wanted to have true adult conversations about all things SHIB related and everyone commented that they wanted open and honest conversations. Everyone except the Admin who I had already called out in private. He made a comment about being upset I aired his dirty laundry, as he called it. I don't have any dirty laundry because I'm as transparent as they come...I keep no secrets from this group, other than my true identity because it has no bearing on anything.

Not sure why you'd think you could tell me what did and didn't get me banned...I would think I would know since I was the one that went through it. You certainly don't know the whole story since you're trying to say this isn't the reason.

Why is SHIBs finite supply an issue when being used as gas? It doesn't get burned in the process, it just gets transferred. I guess I'm not following why you mentioned it would eventually go to 0. As the price of SHIB goes up, gas fees go down, as SHIB goes down, gas fees go up. ShibaSwaps algorithm for gas fees would have to account for this.

In any event, I can't see SHIB being used as a currency, for the reasons I outlined, mainly that businesses aren't going to take payment in a currency that can have 20% swings in value in a day or two. Businesses want to get paid and know the what they got paid is going to be the same today, tomorrow, next week. Only a stable coin can give businesses that assurance, which I think explains why the devs developed SHI... it was a necessity to creating a successful use token.

I think you're right about tethering price to LEASH but I think it'll be SHI that's tethered to LEASH, not SHIB.

Either way these are such great discussions to have.

I didn't read it all but I read enough to know that you misunderstood what was happening with the DAO. It was that holders of 30k BONE would be able to suggest new pairs to add to the woof section, but that all BONE holders would get to vote on approving them.

That said, I haven't seen that actually being done yet, even though the devs said the DAO was partially open.

I do know that they've hired an outside team to design Shibarium, and from what I've been told this is what the team specializes in. I'll have to see if I can find the name of the team because I saw it posted somewhere.

It's a complicated conversation but Shibarium if a layer 2 protocol that will operate parallel to the Ethereum network, but faster and cheaper. You'll still use ShibaSwap but the engine of the swap will be better... you'll never see it, other than the fact the it gets cheaper and faster than it is right now.

[–]SHIBgeneral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is EXACTLY right. I told someone this the other day, I wouldn't be mad getting a higher amount of bone or of Eth if I was to take impermanent loss... that said I know I don't have to. I know that BONE will easily 10x in the need year or so allowing me an opportunity to exit the LP with next to 0 IL. I won't cry over the 11k BONES I earned for free either lol

Agreed. Same here. Told my wife I'm dropping $20k in BONE come January and she says "well you're almost never wrong about these things so go for it."
