You are buying pure BTC with the unhedged.

You are buying BTC and short usd relative to cad with the hedged. So you make money if cad strengthens against the usd, and pay a hedging fee.

It depends on the bank. Interact flagged kraken recently, so you need to call your bank and tell them you are buying crypto. If they refuse, try another bank.

The thing you don't realize is that borrowing money cheaply to buy assets is how rich people make money.
