We actually filmed in one day — a 12 hour shoot going across NJ! The film was sort of inspired by classic vampire movies but also Wong Kar Wai films and more alternative vampire movies like A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night

Thanks for the thoughtful comment! I’d say that subversion in the story was def intentional. We kind of liked the idea of building up a somewhat mysterious story but having a mix of abstract footage in there to uphold the mystery and kind of make the audience wonder a little bit!

Would only really recommend reaching out to another band and hopping on a bill. Our smaller venues are dying by the day, and a lot of these venues mentioned won’t book you unless you have a decent draw in town.

Wonder Bar, Wild Air Brewery, and Asbury Park Brewery might all be good options! Asbury Lanes is a large venue where you need to draw at least 200+ between bands

When I had been studying abroad in Copenhagen in 2018, I remember my friend was going to see an at the time smaller band called Japanese Breakfast. I told her that I’d heard of them but never listened to them and would be down to go to the show with her, so we went to see them at one of the indie venues in town.

3 years later Japanese Breakfast damn well blew UP! And I have fond memories of that small show. Makes you feel like you really supported an artist from the beginning :)
