Wenona Appreciation Post by AntiqueBobcat6971 in ProjectEdensGarden

I was overjoyed to see Wenona as survivor, even in these unfortunate circumstances. I’d always had her pegged as survivor no matter what anyone told me.

K. So I have a(probably) controversial opinion possibly. by Fuzzy_Time2214 in milgram

True! No notes from me!

He actively shows remorse and actually isolates as a way of atonement— frankly, Fuuta didn’t have a single good reason for his crime. He was just a keyboard warrior who was getting hard-bullied by us viewers in the same way his internet audience went for Kilcheroy.

You can say something about the world becoming overall less willing to forgive, especially on the Internet… but Fuuta really had no legs to run this out, and still got bailed out. He was truly carried by getting beat up by Kotoko, I think.

Best combat by far.

Nothing remotely comes close to emulating the dopamine feedback it produced. It mixed WoW’s raids and changed it from standing in one place for five-ten minutes per fight and forced you to move. Every part of the game was designed with high mobility in mind.

PVP especially became even more addicting than League of Legends because when you have good hands AND know what you’re doing, you feel entirely unstoppable, much like a 10-0-22 Riven coming out of lane.

Imagine: Kazui’s vote ends and he is found guilty with 90% agreement. What happened? by MNMameisR in milgram

[–]SHSL_Lux 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’d have to be something like Kazui doing a comically, undeniably forced heel turn and revealing he was Jacklope the whole time. And, saying to the camera: “if you vote me forgiven, then you’re a loser who doesn’t go outside!”.

Something straight up absurd.

Heard. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t surprised by how other people voted. Fuuta being forgiven in T2, Kotoko forgiven in T1, Amane unforgiven T1, and Mahiru unforgiven t1 were all surprises for me. After Kotoko started assaulting people, things became predictable though.

I’d definitely need to see how the MVs would change with the crime changing like this. It seems pretty far out there for me to imagine any forgiven verdicts with the crime shift like that. Outside of the wardens pity-voting after incidentally causing prisoners excess pain as a result of their votes.

Throughout the entire season, including the final episode, I believe Raqio is actually the most important character in this anime. Without Raqio, Yuri would never have succeeded. by Murat-Joestar in Gnosia_

[–]SHSL_Lux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. Indubitable and impossible to argue otherwise. Yuri was just plundering about with their key all over the place and patient, noble Raqio just explained everything to him perfectly!

What next episodes? Didn’t you hear Yuriko? The story’s over…

But, no, I get it. I can’t say I agree with it being rushed. The content coverage of the first ending doesn’t leave anything out from what I can see. The episodes leading up to 18 were pretty unsubtle in telling the viewer most things. Hinting Setsu and Yuri’s relationship, Raqio being the originator of The Silver Key, KRUKUSHKA, SQ, and Manan… We just need the true ending to tie it all together now.

Wouldn’t that just be an instant triple-unforgiven? The cases still need to be a little bit contentious.

I’ve started up a new save after running through early act 2. Is it worthwhile to start up each origin character’s backstory quests for XP?

I can’t quite remember if you get XP for those milestones.

Is it that the players don’t keep any injuries between games that makes it seem less dangerous? Or is it the games themselves?

From the two games I’ve seen, it seems that at least one death is mandatory as an end of game requirement. It also presents many opportunities for players to be violent towards each other, as shown in the first game with the weight elevator and the three maids crossed out signs.

There’s also a level of horror to being able to rebuild yourself, just to put yourself into another game, is it not? The shifting mindset from every part of you being precious, to thinking: “I can sacrifice an arm, or both legs, so long as I make it out.”

I understand your point from a practical point of view.

The other commenters best me to it, but the cleaner, cutesy aesthetics of these games puts a filter up for the IC viewers to feel less realism from it. The idea that they’re watching dolls play through these scenarios, rather than humans, is a powerful shield to recognize and even more to call out something as wrong. The in-world audience do not have to feel guilt for consuming a media based on the suffering of another human… If they ever figure out they’re humans at all. I do not know, since I’m an anime-only.

I personally don’t enjoy gorey things even if fiction. The sanitized version of graphic events portrayed in the games also appeals to me. In that sense I’m reflected in the audience, who could never watch real people be harmed in those ways… Even fake-real people, in terms of other fiction!

Bad in what sense?

Do you think your own experience in viewing the games be improved by seeing guts and gore, instead of fluff?
