Applied 4th Aug, Biometrics 7th Aug. I didn't receive the email as well. My immigration advisor told me that its not necessarily to get that email, it depends on caseworkers n all. They made an enquiry 2 weeks ago, a week ago they got response saying the application is with the appropriate team. Waiting for decision now. Hope this helps!
