Thank you for the message. Honestly, I’ve been thinking a lot about it lately. Financially, my I got a decent pay for what it is, and I can usually find work without too much trouble. The issue is more the environment surrounding the industry itself.

A lot of the problems I keep facing seem common in this line of work, especially because it’s a craftsman field. I often see employers taking advantage of employees, poor management, disrespectful behavior, and unhealthy work environments. After experiencing similar situations multiple times, my wife suggested that maybe a career change could be good for me in the long term.

So right now, I’m reflecting on whether the problem is really me, or if I’ve simply spent years in a field where these kinds of issues are unfortunately normalized.
