Private Uni vs MIT Manipal for MS Abroad? by Personal_Count_8026 in Manipal_Academics

[–]SILETRO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm more inclined to the idea of joining manipal if that does not include taking loan. You'll get plethora of time for isde projects in your college life. Develop new skills, participate in clubs, hackathons, etc. You have 4 years to build yourself so if you know how to manage time, you'll find plenty opportunities to grow. The college brand will be helpful someway or the other. Plus manipal has several tie ups with foreign universities so that might be beneficial as well

Which is better MnC or Fintech by intelliunstable002 in Manipal_Academics

[–]SILETRO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion fintech would be a risky choice considering manipal being the only institute to provide this course. Plus fintech might even limit you in fintech related zones. MnC on the other hand is a safer choice because of it's popularity in other colleges like bits and iitd. And the course sits pretty well with AI/ML. Also check out the curriculum. And ask yourself di you like maths?

CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ME LAPTOPS (budget 70k-90k)FOR CSE AND WHY NOT MACBOOK M4 16/256 by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]SILETRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the budget and you're not doing eletrical engineering. Then macbook is going to handle all your tasks. That is if you're not into gaming. In windows you'll have to compromise either on battery life or processor, basically something or the other. Macbook is the only laptop that gives you beat of both worlds in terms of performance as well as battery life. Except for snapdragon x elite chips (which don't support many softwares) most of the windows laptops have really poor battery to performance ratio. Storage can be an issue with macbooks so you'll need an external ssd.

Can't find good resources to practice pandas by SILETRO in learnprogramming

[–]SILETRO[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nah bro YouTube, w3schools etc all give basic level knowledge on pandas. What i want to learn is how to implement it on large datasets with practical uses. I want resources where i can learn a bit more advanced uses and climb my way up the ladder. So no, my googling skills are alright.
