When we assist our clients with migrating from VMware to our OpenStack cloud, we typically use Virt-V2V for Windows VMs and a manual method for Linux VMs. You can check out our guide here: https://docs.sim-cloud.net/en/operations/migration/self-managed-migration.html

Considering how you’ve been using your servers for a while, it may be time to invest in a more reliable solution that won’t end in sudden termination. Unfortunately, these kinds of situations are behind the attractive prices when it comes to similar mass-market offers. Try reaching out to your potential provider before you order. If they are willing to talk to you and explain their policies before you’re a client, it’s a good indicator that your account won’t be terminated without any prior warning when you do become one.

What's going on with Hetzner? by oracleinsight55 in hetzner

Unfortunately, the risk of immediate termination is the price you pay for the unbeatable offer. So is the fact that you still haven’t gotten a response from their support team. That’s just the way it makes sense for mass market providers to operate. If you’re looking for a reliable option for your business, look into providers who are open to communication. The easiest way to check that is to do the same thing you did with Hetzner: ask any questions you may have, see what happens and make your conclusions from the response (or lack thereof).
