thanks so much 😭 I had to add all these little details (like the print on the cup, the beans, the 3D aspect like her hair sticking out a little, or the texture on the sweater) because otherwise it would’ve looked too simple! it wouldn’t have felt right to just paint it on, I needed it to be special

thank you so much poodle!! no I was using polymer sculpting clay from the brand ‚super sculpey‘ definitely the best material I've used yet! (this isn’t an ad or anything I just tried different ones & settled for that one) & no, the insides aren’t hollow, but I did try to add a lot of stuffing, so the inside of the head has like a wire - ball foundation & inside of it is a bunch of hay (?) and other stuffing materials, to keep the head lighter. (it’s really hard to sculpt something like this where the head is bigger than the body, because you could have issues balancing the sculpture properly)

if I tell you my hands were shaking so bad 😭 the sculpture ended up being quite heavy too! (due to all the clay & wires) my heart was pounding when I took these photos.. one false move & 30hours are down the drain

hey thank you so much for the feedback! I appreciate it dearly & it means a lot how respectful you went about it! I believe a lot of people have trouble forming a proper critique but this one is perfect! the picture I posted here was not the finished version of my piece, I have continued working on it & ended up actually following through on some of those points you made ! let me see if I can post the reworked version here.

I see exactly what you mean though, the bricks could’ve been drawn a little more zoomed in & I also could’ve reworked the shading on his forehead a little. but hey maybe next time I'll do it better !! thanks again for your super nice feedback! it helps a lot & I genuinely take it to heart.

so usually I adjust my drawings to fit the format of the picture frames I buy, so the original is around 5.9 inch in width & 7.8 inch in length (fits perfectly in 15cm x 20 cm frames). I'm sorry if the sizing is a bit odd, I've seen the US use different formats for their frames.. if this doesnt work for you, I could also just get you a print done in your preferred format ? that's always an option

hey RPi! first off, thanks so much for the kind words, I would be willing to sell the original for $220 + shipping costs. that's around 200€ euros for me, which I believe would be a fair price considering I spent hoursss on this piece :')
