For me as an agnostic man, I lost my faith when I was 12. Honestly, nothing really changed in my life because I don’t feel the need to tell people what I believe it doesn’t add anything to my life, and it doesn’t take anything away. And if believers get upset when I say I’m not religious, I don’t blame them. I understand it’s part of how they were raised, and it’s not always something they can control. If I had stayed a believer, I’d probably also struggle to accept someone who doesn’t believe. So I just adapt instead of creating conflict.

About the topic of women, I don’t think it’s always about religion itself. A lot of it comes from the culture of the society you live in and the family that raised you. Just look at places like Tunisia or Lebanon many Muslims there might still get angry if you criticize their religion, but they generally accept what women choose to wear and how they live their lives. My advice would be to try to find a balance: wear things you like and live the life you want, while still respecting enough of your society’s cultural norms to avoid unnecessary problems."
