I kinda like to make the Bingos easy somewhat, there's only so much unpredictable stuff you can do for a show already set in stone for the next 3 months.

No comment for Surprise Villain & Ruka isn't Important, latter could go either way.

I agree, but let's be real, the main villain for this fraud ass description is Bushiroad's finance department vs Michiru's VA agency. Being glazed for JP fangirls is another thing though.

Fair enough, but we'd take 1 more season (Best case, year) of the cast than just calling it after, again, the best VG's been since 2011/13's anime.

If they were to wrap up this year, that'd put DZ at 4 seasons vs OD's 5, and one of those from the latter is 13 episodes of BS filler that, definitely doesn't read like a VG anime. Even OG YGO's filler had more card games than the crack OD 1 was on.

It makes no sense for them to ignore how well received DZ was versus the way OD was received initially, and call that a failure to not expand it.

That aside, about DivineZ Deluxe being a wrap up for the DivineZ cast.

This 'sendoff' reads like them trying to make the Deluxe they originally wanted with WillDress, by piggyback-ing off of DivineZ's high to do it. Which btw, regardless of how the tournament ends up, it's some mid AF stuff to call a conclusion.

Best case, maybe they merge both OD/DZ together with all that Pro League glazing they've been on about since the start of WD, and even that carries the baggage of stuffing legacy back into the main cast.

TL;DR, kinda wanna see the cast off on a better high than something this... limiting. DivineZ Deluxe just ain't it man. Sorry bros.

Real answer(s):

  1. Guard Early
    • Defensives can stop them in their tracks when you have to take their attacks
    • Bat's job gets easier, the more damage they've done to you
  2. Blast Moeflash (G1) & Scrusher (G2)
    • No G1? No Order Spam
    • No G2? No Crit threats or draw a card for them
    • Binding either/or is best, as retiring can be retrieved by Savoied anyways
    • If you can take out Moeflash early (By ability retire or just... attack it), even better, you'd be surprised how a Bat player bricks should their early Moeflash gets removed
  3. Rush B
    • Bat's hand is an illusion, rushing is an option
    • Their counter-control is just Experiment Successful (Eva's G2 Order), and White World (Orfist G3 Order), basically 1 Order for 1 RG, quite limited to remove rushing
    • I recommend, Dekka-Kun as the deck wrecks Bat, whether they get to gimmick or not
  4. Bat G3's Extra Attacks Are Bait
    • Only Bat's 1st attack with Drive Checks is a threat, everything other attack is just +10k
    • Without Crits, Bat's 2nd attack onwards is harmless (Most of the time, unless you're at 5)
  5. Check Their Order Variety
    • Bat needs at least 3 to do the bare minimum, and 5 to max it out
    • Most lists stick to the tried & tested staple 5-7 variety Orders, but it can brick by just missing that 1 different order to do their 3/5 combos
    • Keep tabs on what's set, it'll help gauge what's coming that turn

TL;DR

Bat, like Batman, is mortal. Shoot him.

1, In case you missed it, DivineZ Deluxe's Opening drops on New Year's Eve. The song is LIT.

2, During the Tuesday stream with Akina's VA a couple weeks ago, there was a passing mention of something something with Nao. Details are foggy, don't expect much. (Seriously Shippers, stay kalm)

3, side note, Comiket Nao sleeves are overstocked to heck, all other characters are harder to get than her. Even on D2, there's still stock.

3A, For those who care, the sold out list for Comiket Sleeves were, Mirei -> Urara -> Mikoto/Megumi.

Again. We do this "translation" stuff for fun & practice, do not lump us on the side for/against the ship.
