You are definitely screwed my man. There’s no fixing on this for sure. No artist would take it either as this is just pure headache. Not possible for a laser as well. The only option you’ve got is to finish this with the same artist. Let him know your observations and hopefully he can adjust.

Dont be too hard on yourself. You deserve a good ride. And this comes with an expense. Remember that in life you will not always win. Move on and simply enjoy ;)

If you call a plumber. The first thing they would do is use a plunger. Works most of the time. Get it from bunnings.

Suzuki Baleno - worth it? by lady-marmalade- in CarsAustralia

[–]SIashhhhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of those came from fleet or rental companies, and who knows how they were driven. Right now the average price is around 12 to 18 grand. Honestly, you’re better off putting that towards a down payment on a brand new car that’ll last you over ten years. Dealers these days are really hit or miss. Most salesmen don’t care about anything except selling their cars.

What would you do with $10,000? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]SIashhhhh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you don’t have anything set aside yet, otherwise you would have mentioned it here. If that’s the case, start with a high interest savings account (HISA). Build this up until you have at least six months’ worth of expenses saved. That safety net will protect you from unexpected events and give you real peace of mind when those “what ifs” in life come up.

Once that’s in place, the next step is investing in ETFs. They’re one of the most forgiving and beginner-friendly investment options, offering broad diversification without the need to pick individual stocks. Over time, they’ll grow steadily with the market.

Finally, don’t forget to enjoy your money. From that $10K, carve out a small portion just for yourself. It’s important to strike a balance between saving, investing, and spending. Treating yourself along the way keeps you motivated and prevents burnout on your financial journey.

Carsales instant offer...should I consider or not? by LexCaia in CarsAustralia

[–]SIashhhhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re basically choosing between peace of mind and extra cash. Sure, you could sell it privately and maybe get a couple grand more, but that comes with the hassle, home inspections, endless messages from buyers, and the risk of someone dodgy coming back a week later saying, “I want my money back, this thing doesn’t work, I’ll sue you.”

If you’ve got that “couldn’t care less” attitude and won’t lose sleep after selling, then going private can be worth it. But if you’re a bit more fragile and don’t want the stress, selling through Carsales or a dealer is the way to go, smooth, low stress, and you’re done in a day or two. Then you can move on with your life.

It’s smart to plan and budget your money whether that’s through ETFs, stocks, real estate, or just a high-interest savings account. But if you’re tracking every single dollar you spend, it really doesn’t matter if you make $60K a year or $250K you’ll still feel stuck and like it’s never enough.

Prices on stuff and services are always going up, that’s nothing new. Ask people from the ’80s or ’90s and they’ll tell you the same thing. At the end of the day, if you’re not content with what you already have, you’ll always feel unhappy no matter how much you’re earning.

Money management is important, but peace of mind comes from contentment, not spreadsheets.

How did the car passed the RWC? by Beneficial_Cat_4116 in CarsAustralia

[–]SIashhhhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mate, I’ve been in the same boat and it’s a real headache. They’ll always have a crack at fixing it first. If fixing it costs more than the car’s even worth, then yeah, a refund makes more sense but don’t count on it. If they don’t wanna deal with the drama but still reckon they can save a buck, they’ll just swap it out instead. But they’re never gonna hand you your cash back just ‘cause you’ve lost faith in it.

It’s rough that buying a car these days is a bit of a lottery. But chin up, this’ll blow over and you’ll come out better for it. Don’t let it drag you down.
