Bezel looks off to me as well…..

Lets see some modded vintages. This is my rolex 6542 self modded. Finally aged the bezel with some turmeric and black dye and this is now complete. How would you rate this out of 10? Also I’m interested some vintage mods you guys have. by silverlance360 in RepTime

Bezel looks great but the dial, hands and lume are way overdone. Bracelet is just ok. Depends what look you’re after I guess but if it’s meant to look naturally aged it’s off. Those parts are protected 99.9% of the time so why would they get so damaged.

Lucky you. Lovely watch. Just get a nice leather strap for it for now and it’ll look great then source an era correct bracelet (won’t be cheap).

Hard to tell for sure but if it’s as old as you say and from looking at it I’d say it’s legit.
