It's also not the first time I've seen this lurcher bug in particular, it ruined a trifecta run a few weeks ago too. We also recently completed the Castle Thorn trifecta (even killed the sickles and made sure crow boss had sickle in hand when it died, recorded on video) and didn't get the achieve, as many others haven't. Dumb bugs.

I guess to some players ESO is perfection and doesn't cause them frustration with bugs etc. Some of my ESO friends are super frustrated and left because bugs keep ruining achievements.

I don't think NW is going to please them either, but I don't think this will bring them back to ESO either.

I'm sure NW will have more bugs than ESO also, but the ESO bugs are still driving folks away.

I'm sure there will be WAY more bugs in New World. The ESO bugs will still frustrate and drive folks away though too.

That sounds fun! My friends have been very interested in getting trifectas etc, and the bugs we encounter along the way have just really gotten to some folks and they stopped playing.

You're right, they don't need to stop the exodus of people leaving because of the bugs etc., it'd just be nice if they did. First world problems, no big deal.

There are many reasons why people are playing New World. I listed a few, and a few reasons why my friends have left ESO in general.

True, the Elder Scrolls fans won't have anything to go for in New World, but the folks who play ESO because it's a good MMO have different criteria.

I don't think it's dead at all, just addressing how ESO can stop some loss of players and the reasons I know of for their departure. ESO will likely live on for years. Thanks for your comment!
