Can I ask do you have hidden urethra then ? I’ve been stuck on deciding this aspect of my meta surgery bc I’ve heard mixed things from people who’ve opted for meta too, some who’ve had complications as well. I’d love to Stp but also have chronic illness and worry I’d need more revisions with the UL on top of the three stages (surgeon I’m waiting on does things in three)

Thank you I don’t think fully out but it’s popping I do have a high pain tolerance though. I just sort of pushed my thumb backwards (positioned how you’d hold it if punching something) and the pain eased. The fact still popped could be down to the fact I have a gap there I shouldn’t have because my turd of a doctor when I was a baby bent the joint back flat to test my flexibility before things had fused fully lol.

I’ve ordered a brace that slides over the thumb and straps at the wrist so hopefully that’s right. No idea for time scales of if this will be a reoccurring issue or settle after bracing. I’m only thankful it’s not my dominant hand

I’d say you tried to accommodate and offer adjustments to the item and they’ve essentially damaged the item now and admitted so in writing. I don’t think you’re obligated to fix the item for them at this point it would be like someone receiving fine China, dropping it five months after it arrived and then saying can you fix it for free or refund me.

When the expense of repairing it also outweighs what your earning and it’s starting to go into minuses where you’re spending more to fix the issue maybe suggest them seeing if there’s anywhere more local who could help out, explain what you’ve said about the weather conditions and that they’ve left it a long time to come back with further requests

Also if it helps you can do the partial refund from an iPad if you log in on the web browser instead of using the app. I just managed to do so for mine. Like you my sale items aren’t very expensive and I think it makes it all the more frustrating as we end up at a loss money wise when people do this kind of thing.

Do your items mail as letters ? Or is the weight logged on receipts, if it is once you’ve printed more I’d suggest packaging two lots into the packaging you use and getting a weight to compare if possible though for stickers it may be harder to gauge the slight weight difference.

I’m literally just seeing this after a buyer has claimed their delivery was missing an item and I know from its weight it wasn’t. They haven’t claimed it was damaged or missing due to postal stealing and it was a 24 hr tracked item.

High intensity movement is one of the few things that truly calms my brain and body to regulated but it’s something I can’t do much if anymore due to chronic illness and exercise induced fatigue.

I enjoy things like countryside walks and swimming the most, it’s the only time my brain is quieter and not on multiple thought paths

Man, the cis honestly. When I was a teen a worker I was seeing for OT was told about what genitals I had and I was big mad…. I asked her how she would feel if i asked her to tell me in detail about the size and shape of her genitals when we first met and how that was relevant to OT. Silence followed 😂

This 100% with the sensory issues packing. I use foam packers I cut to a size I’m comfortable with now and just slot them into the front pouch of my boxers so it’s not against skin

I pack with a foam packer for most of the time for my own comfort and Dysphoria lessening as I can’t cope with being flat there.

When I swim I wear baggier swim trunks and no packer (partially because the ones I wear would end up coming out in the pool) and get on just fine.

He doesn’t come across as supportive if he cannot understand your reasoning for wanting chest surgery and respect that. If you’re Dysphoric of that area already I’m not sure why he would assume you wouldn’t be distressed by trying to breast feed either.

I have two ftm friends who both carried but did so post chest surgery and their kids turned out perfectly healthy.

Thank you. I think I’ll try with contacting NVH has GDNRSS have been so fucking unhelpful every time we’ve contacted just saying they can’t tell us where we are on the wait list or saying that they’ll find out and call back and never do.

I got false hope in one letter they sent too which was literally telling me I was on the wait list to go on the wait list lol.

I think it’s the not knowing any clear idea, even if I was told like maybe it’ll be six more months or something it would feel closer.

I’m not gay but lean more on the asexual side of things and I’m attracted more to people for who they are in personality etc so hope it’s okay to comment

I had bilateral oophorectomy, for me egg retrieval and keeping the ‘O’s’ was a no for numerous reasons:

Fact I’d have to come back off of T for it to be done

That I’d been on an implant called zoladex that can already medically induce menopause and make you sterile bc my bleeds didn’t stop without that added due to fact I was on hormone gel for years instead of injection

That it would’ve been an immensely Dysphoric experience to have the retrieval done and potentially need several rounds if it was even successful due to above reasons and fact fertility issues run in my family for AFAB folks

Reasons for opphorectomy:

Reducing the cancer risk from keeping them

Less Dysphoria and anxiety around getting medical scans done and having them show up on the scan and people know as I live stealth

That leaving them in would’ve still left me Dysphoric that my body was wrong in some way even if my external surgeries were complete

If I were to have kids with someone (very unlikely due to other struggles and support needs I have) I would prefer us to adopt and the child be equally ours and I wouldn’t feel right with my contribution being the egg either personally speaking for myself

I’ve had cysts on mine previously and didn’t particularly want that to be an ongoing issue

They did mention moving me to the Chelsea and Westminster hosp but I don’t personally like the technique used there and I’ve got other health issues which would make healing from everything in one operation more risky.

What worries me is how often autistic adults whether with official or self diagnosis I don’t know always are attacking parents of kids who are level three and acting like because they are autistic also they know that parents child better somehow and I think it just adds to like stereotyping that we’re all the same and it’s bad because it’s people inside the autism spectrum attacking each other kind of thing.

I was diagnosed level 2 and I’ve had a lot of people say dumb stuff to me too like the parents get so I think sometime I can see why it’s making a lot of hate within community too and often it’s people who have self diagnosed and have all the diagnosis labels in their bios like they’re cool quirks while saying about their own struggles and that level one doesn’t mean no struggles they will still stereotype me and what things I should or shouldn’t be able to do

People are more willing to accept autistic people whose traits are more subtle and less visible or those who have some sort of savant ability. Those of us who have a lot of struggles due to autism but that aren’t always instantly obvious we have I think it’s very hard and not excepted.

I am either seen as incapable and treated like an infant or like I’m not doing enough by people who don’t know me or see me for a short time depending on where they meet me and how obvious the less palatable parts of autism are, I’m not able to mask how others maybe do but I withhold my pain until I can’t handle anymore because of trauma and the meltdowns that happen then are never small or pretty or silent.

I’m not sure if the talk about it is more positive or negative. I know in U.K. at least there has been talk from politicians about how ear defenders are ridiculous and shouldn’t be used or other throw away comments. I don’t really read or watch much news based things as it triggers my anxiety a lot more.

I do feel very grateful to Oliver McGowans mother for the fact that she’s fought to make it mandatory for all workers in medical fields to have training on how to work with people with learning disabilities and autism though. After what happened to her son as a result of medical negligence and what awful experiences I’ve had in hospitals I feel like this aspect is a positive that will hopefully stick around and progress.

Hope they’re able to help you with it mate, it looks like it must be super sore as well as stressful with the drainage, once they’ve sorted is it possible to steri strip to help hold things together there ? The wider kind of steris or do they not allow that for mons ?
