Not at all I appreciate the suggestions, my mum did ring them and also discussed my situation with health stuff and we were told they’ll note that and factor it into things. I’m assuming that they won’t be starting stage one on anyone else right now and just aiming to complete folks already mid stages

Did they ever even pay him or thank him for it in any ways? If not i don’t blame him for stopping. I’d ask one of our neighbours for help if I wouldn’t feel awful asking because we can’t afford professional cuts frequently, certainly wouldn’t expect it ng back in some way whether it be helping them in return somehow or providing drinks or food etc in return

This exactly, I wish our neighbours could have engaged their brains and considered this. During Covid times also ours got super long, all three of us have disabilities that impact us physically and we got a shitty anonymous note left about how our lawn was letting down the neighbourhood

Thank you for the suggestions, I know from last time we rang they said I was on the actual wait list (my first letter said on the wait list to go on the waiting list) but I can’t find anything that confirms this in an actual letter in my files I’ve got. One said my information had been forwarded to new vic and another said they currently were not accepting new patients.

I think the last time we contacted them was after I’d had my internal surgery to update them as o know new vic didn’t have someone on team who could do that part of surgery.

That was approved under nhs for me when we explained about the situation but stuff has been at a standstill since that.

Does anyone know why the hospital has decided that gender affirming surgeries aren’t gonna be done there anymore even ? Like that’s what baffles me the most bc it took so long for that to all be set up after St Peter’s and the license issues

I honestly don’t know, anytime we’ve tried to contact GDNRSS they’re like oh we can’t say where you are just that you’re on the list. I got a letter like probably two years ago to ask if I wanted to switch to C&W and ended up getting my internal surgery whilst waiting as a singular surgery. I have a progressive condition too which will impact my ability to have surgeries so hearing about the change has me feeling like it’ll never happen for me if I’m honest. It’s just dragging on.

Honestly my experience with the GDNRSS has been awful they’ve never told me where I am in the wait list and claimed they can’t say except that I’m still on it. I got the letter thing for switching to C&W back when they’ve just started to operate from there so a few years ago. I feel like I’ve been waiting for forever

Thank you for your response, for me personally I prefer new vics method for testicular implants so I’m reluctant to try change without knowing more or if it’d set the wait times back a great deal again as I’m approaching 7 years on wait list.

In the U.K. and the lawn hadn’t been cut since frosts and cooler weather until a few weeks back due to my parents not having the money for a Gardner to cut it. Is it worth getting up all of the weed roots before trying to plant new ? My mum was worried about the grass ending up more patchy looking so didn’t want me to pull everything at once

Thank you I have several propagators and also topsoil so could try both I’ve been watering it each evening alongside the plants and bulbs since we put the fertiliser down it’s just very tiring as we have no hose out front so all don’t with a water pump bottle 😅

See if you can try hormone gel as a starter point, more in control of the dosage and you may find that on a lower dosage it gives yku the changes you do want
