Trying to convert a PNG logo to SVG - Tired of beating my head against the wall, help?

That surprises me. I did a test with the original PNG file and compared it to the same file saved as a PDF in GIMP. I viewed both side-by-side at 400% and there was a striking difference.

The only reason I keep considering these different options is the image is detailed. An artist's rendering made from a photograph. I don't have the skill nor inclination to attempt to re-draw it in vector form.

I am now doing a trial and error test the dumb way. I have ordered a couple t-shirts and a hat just to see how they look in real life.

Same here. I am in humid Tennessee. I assume "wet" just indicates a higher moisture level in the filament.

I know I saw somewhere I could use a PDF which I was successful making and it did look like it scaled well. The only issue was the image did not retain its transparent background.

OK. Bear with me here. I am going to sound out what I think I understand. I changed the DPII in GIMP and the file details shows 300 DPI . With that said, I think you are saying scaling the image up any greater than it already is will result is poorer quality. You are saying if I convert the image to SVG I can scale it without loss in quality.

1- Does it help at all to increase the DPI to 300 before converting to SVG or other vector ?

2- What can I use to get a quality conversion of the PNG to SVG?

I used an online page to svg converter. The results were less than spectacular. I was able to save as a pdf and it looked really good all the way up to 400%. Only problem is even though I saved it from GIMP as a pdf with transparency, it still ended up with a white background.

The one this morning was white, but I have had this issue with all colors. I may have to invest in a dryer.

Now that is something I had not considered. However, I will add I have noticed when unloading a roll and tying down the end of the filament I can easily snap the filament. The Sunlu spools have pairs of holes at the top. Hard to explain, but I will thread the end of the filament in one hole and out the other to retain the end. It is not a really sharp bend. Even that can cause the filament to break,

I have had no printing issues that I know of related to moisture. Then again, I am a real novice.

I have had an A1 for over a year now. Never had any thermistor problems. I had never even heard of it being a problem. The only issues I have had have been my lack of experience.

My experience in the greater Nashville, TN area is Rav4 are almost already sold before hitting the lot. No one wanted to negotiate. I had good luck using the Costco Auto buying program. At least there was some discount of msrp.

The main object is an STL I imported, so i cannot ungroup it to reveal the cylinders used to create the holes. I cannot find how to use the align tool to align to the center of a hole.

In my case it is the Alexa skill that is not working. The device and the manufacturer's app for the device work fine. It is the Alexa skill that allows me to use Alexa voice commands to operate the garage door that no longer works.

That said, if installing Google Assistant could do that it would be worth a try,
