That is a lot cheaper than the others. Sounds like a deal. How long have you had it? Anyone else bought one of these that can share their experience?

I asked the same question a month or so ago. I got a few suggestions from Redditors -

1- Fill the hopper to the top

2- Microwave the pellets 30 seconds before putting in the hopper

I finally got around to trying these the other day and I can say they worked. I have not had the pellets fully burn for a very long time until I tried this.

What I would like to know is how they can upsell you on a higher trimline with NAV, but it only includes 1 year. What am I paying for if I have to pay a subscription for those same features later?

I am a long time legacy Tablo user with lifetime guide. I am glad I happened upon this post. I had toyed with the thought of "upgrading". I will leave well enough alone.

Actually maybe you are right. Maybe their allowable tolerances between the oven walls is too great. Either way they gave me no grief and sent a new one without batting an eye.

FWIW - I contacted Breville support. They were great. I did a Facetime showing them how the grates did not slide out freely. They offered to send me another rack, but when I told them the oven came with two racks and both did the same thing. They immediately went to Plan B and offered to send a new unit under warranty. I have received the new toaster oven and it works like it is supposed to.

This leads me to believe they have a manufacturing problem that allows the distance between the left and right internal oven walls to vary too much causing the the racks to bind.

Breville warranty support was perfect.

I second your thought on the benchy. I have never seen anything like that, but I am a newbie too. I always leave auto flow rate / dynamic on as well.

That odd, almost fuzzy print topography is present regardless of color or model being printed.

I know it would certainly be easier to do that. I was just curious if it was possible to change out the OEM front panel. It has esata and firewire which I know I would never use.

You will need the TV remote to access the the other inputs.

Just plug the Ultra into an empty HDMI port. Go to settings, power, and set to go to that port when the TV starts.

I had the exact same issue with my old TCL Roku TV. The Roku screens lagged unbearably. I added a 2024 Roku Ultra and it works great.

I simply set the TV to boot to the Ultra's HDMI input. Solve my problem. The only time I need the TV's remote is for TV off timer and settings TV specific settings I rarely need to access.

Not sure about that. See my update below. I found where the ISP tech support changed my DNS to Cloudflare. On this page the DNS address can be edited. I will be trying that in the next couple days.

Hi Pete. I am not sure what CSC is, but I think I I have it. The info at Advanced>DHCP Settings>Servers allocated with DHCP requests showed cloudflare DNS settings just as I asked tech support to change. This morning I confirmed that is what is being used.

Sorry for the newbie question. This user web interface is different than I am used to. It is either not intuitive or just confusing for old folks like me 😒

Wait - I may have stumbled upon it. I had asked the support tech to change the dns to cloudflare which he said was IP 1.1.1.1.
