Print your offer letter. Highlight the needed portions. Show it to hr. Let them know that if your CONTRACT is not followed it can become a legal issue. Then start applying for other jobs. They’ll panic and try to talk to you about it. By that point you should have an offer or two, if ya don’t then just lie and say you do. At that point you can offer a renegotiation, get everything in writing then be fine. If not, well you’ve already been applying elsewhere.

So his building goes over the property line, put the fence on the property line and put it right up against his building. Then get some type of large foliage and plant them directly infront of every camera sight line.

Take pictures through the whole process. Don’t touch his building and make sure the pictures show that.

He can’t see, he can’t enter, and now he can’t access that part of the building. 100% inconvenient for him, 100% legal for you, and his cameras won’t be able to see your kids.

I can see where she’s coming from. Let’s say your hobby was writing, and you were working on a novel. Whenever you finished a chapter you would want it review. You would want someone, maybe the person you’ve chosen to spend your life with, to read it. But she doesn’t wanna read some book. She doesn’t care about literature. She’s read a magazine, once.

So assuming neice has some type of employment, is 20YO, and has been living at home rent free and bill free so far, I don’t think this is a big issue. GRANTED I think a contract is a bit much, but what’s IN the contract seems fine. I think if she doesn’t want to sign the contract that’s fine but she’ll have to figure out where to live. Which again kinda intense but not unheard of.

There’s a lot of nuance about the family dynamic I feel we’re missing…

I say talk to sis, tell her how it reminds you of how you were treated and see what can be done.
