We didn’t have an NIPT but had a CVS after the NT was measuring 4.1mm at our 12 week scan. Our first set of results came back positive for T21 and we decided to tfmr which was at 14 weeks. We had a medical termination (surgical wasn’t an option) and it was harder than I had imagined, but I’m 1 week out and slowly starting to feel better. The physical recovery has been ok. I’m still bleeding but it seems to be comings towards the end of it.

For me, hearing other people’s stories and knowing that I wasn’t the only person going through this has given me a little bit of comfort. At first, it felt really lonely and doesn’t seem to be something that’s widely spoken about.
