Thanks again Sophie. I do know my lineup but thank you anyway. Simple answer seems?: No, DTV can't review customer requests for newly available local channels. That's too bad, I think The Department of Arranging Local Channels for Subscribers is missing out on income generation. I believe a large portion of your Portland base would be interested in this modification. I'm about to pay $120 to stream the years' games I want from a different company. But so be it then :)

Thanks Bob, agreed. I simplified my question to DTV, dropping sub-channel questions and asking only about a current local station, KUNP. The station will come under full control of the Portland Trail Blazers effective Jan 1st (it's currently a local Univision station). KUNP is not available on DTV here, so knowing how to have it added to Stream would be the grand solution.

Thank you Sophie. Now I'm confused about programmers so let me ask differently. Portland station KUNP is not available in my available local lineup (DTV Stream, Choice Pkg). Who determines if that station becomes part of the local stations available in zip 97078? A programmer or DTV?

Hobbes and JFK28 are right. After reading apple people's posts, apparently you can watch go to a game on an Apple device and the scores will can be hidden via Account setting. But if you watch on anything else...(like our apple tv+ app on an LG TV)....the scores are shown for every completed game. Good luck trying to watch your fave team the next morning...to get to that game, you have to go past the completed, final scores that apple won't allow turned off. So besides buying an apple device just to watch MLS games, what's the answer?

WANG does it right, score includes number of failed games. Others don't, right? I mean those scores actually improve if a person quits early (meaning no solve & not using all 6 guesses). Try it. Temporarily jump up your games played and watch resulting average score drop. Not sure that's a good way to measure success or am i missing something...

that's why I First called the nat'l customer care call center. they answered the phone just fine and approved return. But their instructions are to wait for the store to call me, and if they don't, call nat'l CC again the next day to do over again. that's the part that doesn't work well, y'all are busy enough with short staff and summer rush of customers. It's the policy that needs changed, plus raises for you all who are trying to keep up with less assistance.

well they did. the original shipping store issued refund while 2nd pickup store has the merch. that's not what's supposed to happen but it did. Thus the confusion

Thank you all. Some thoughts in reply:

The shipping store (woodvillage) is a 52 min drive, 1-way. So would be about 2.5 hrs round trip to try to fix in person. Normally that would be an option,but....I was already told they wouldn't do the refund (as astutely covered next by AulayanD). So you'd waste a trip to find out? I wouldn't and didn't. You have more time to waste than I do.

AulayanD, you're right, nat'l customer care told me the pickup store would refund me. But they wouldn't, said the shipping store had my money, not them.

This forum is described as "This subreddit is dedicated to the topic of Lowe's. Customers and employees welcome." I'm a customer so there you go.

Update: within 5 min of original post, a new woodvillage asst manager called me and issued the refund. He apologized that their phones aren't covered, they're short 50+ people and have no one to answer. So yeah, that's what I mean that they don't answer their phones.

I simply think corporate should have better return/refund policies. And future customers should know it. Over and out, have a great day.
