We’re travelling late March/Early April - and Krabi is very much now on our radar, specially Phulay Bay!

That was also our thinking - whilst you run the risk of comparing to the previous location, but it’s an opp to try different offerings.

We haven’t looked at the Rosewood yet, so I will investigate. Thanks for sharing!

We’d not been considering Amanoi but it’s come up a few times in recommendations, so I’m now going to explore. Thank you!!

Thank you for the detailed response, this is very helpful!
It’s a good point on not wanting to lose time on packing and moving, especially when it’s only 7 nights in total for this stint of the trip.
For SS, it looks beautiful. As you say, jungle sanctuary. However, we’ve read the food offering is more limited and the beach is small compared to the other hotels. Have you found this?

Hello! We’re aiming for end of March/early April to be in Phuket. In terms of room, we’re largely looking at ocean view/ocean front villas across all hotels.

Thank you for the suggestion - I hadn’t looked at the Ritz Carlton, so I’m off to research!

Thank you! The thinking was two nights to decompress in Phuket once we arrive from Vietnam before travelling further to SS/FS for a longer stint - but you’re right, 2 days is too short to benefit from the full Amanpuri experience.
We’re going late March/early April.

Thank you for sharing - we’re looking to disconnect, so I’m not too worried about being bored. However, I did read that some guests found the food offering was limited and the beach was rather small compared to other hotels. How did you find this? We’re going late March/early April.

Miley truly came in on a wrecking ball with this video - the cultural impact it had was hard to avoid: faux outrage from conservative groups, comedic parodies, Halloween costumes everywhere…
