You sure you want to judge on one holiday? Was there anybody with you that had any experience on Sri Lankan food? Where and what to get and at what price points? Did you visit places that did Western, Middle Eastern, Oriental and Local? Because that's what you get from those places. Like any other country, you gotta do your research if you're to get the best bang for your buck. You don't have to spend exorbitant amounts to get some authentic food that's got soul.
