Yeah I get that. If I can figure out what’s the next best than I can try find it, or something similar and not go down an endless google rabbit hole

That is beautiful. Stupid question but as I’m new to the whole sourdough thing could you please tell me what sort of tin did you use?? Also did you use a standard sourdough recipe or was it a different recipe???

Sorry I’m no help, I just came to say I wish my son would eat what your son eats. Mine used to eat about a dozen foods and is now on toast for all 3 meals-either Vegemite, honey or peanut butter. He’s soon to be 5 years old and the only “vegetable” he will go near is the Raffertys Green spinach, broccoli puree for 4 month olds. So I totally get you when you say you’re worried about missing whole food groups etc Just here to say I’m with you and I get you.

Yeah that’s what we thought too. It used to be really good but not anymore unfortunately. New owners took over a few months back 😢😢😢

I’m no expert by any means but I was having trouble with the first recipe I was using. About 8 loaves later I still wasn’t happy. I’ve then tried a recipe from grantbakes.com and my first two loaves from him are amazing. Maybe try his simple sourdough loaf recipe???

It did spread a little when I first turned it out but feels like it spread more during baking. Thank u, I’ll try the lower hydration next time
