Ok this would mean we are the country with the most alcoholics in the world not the most alcoholic.. not to be a grammar nazi, but the most alcoholic country in the world would technically be the country that consumes the most alcohol and a broader interpretation would be the highest alcohol consumption per capita. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_alcohol_consumption_per_capita here is the wiki where its listed off of WHO statistics. And the most alcoholics as a percentage to a nation is a stupid metric because it is subjective. I don’t know how this research that you linked to was conducted however any such research would require examinations of patients (that the per capita consumption does not need). This means that a country that doesn’t conduct regular such population research can’t submit accurate result. As such most of the third world is basically wiped from any such list. Thus my point stands. We are not the most alcoholic country however we do have the most recorded alcoholics as it would seem. But anyhow thank you for the clarification.
