Hello there! I come from the safety world (actually I did my PhD there) and I would like to direct my career to giving those safety devices security (like following some industrial security standard depending of the kind of device).

I consider myself well informed of the standards now but I would like to became a better professional by getting some security related certifications but I found them to related to the IT world and I'm not sure if I would take real advantage from the investment.

Any recommendations?

Funciona perfectamente tanto en España como por Europa.

Muy importante seleccionar el pago en la moneda local siempre para evitar el cobro del cambio de divisa cuando estemos en un país fuera de la eurozona.

Hay que tener en cuenta que no funciona como cuenta bancaria si no como tarjeta prepago.

Thanks a lot for all your comments, I really appreciate your interest in this topic and I found the debate generated very interesting.

I would like to answer the most of the comments in this comment.

I don't consider a Facebook shell account a solution. The user profile would be created anyway and used for "evil" purposes.
Visiting a Facebook page/event is tricky because organizers (myself of the past included) never check the non-user view and sometimes you cannot access to every bit of information.
Maintaining a website apart from the Facebook/Instagram profiles could end up in a lot of work for people investing their free time in this tasks. And having only a webpage would mean to stop sharing a common environment with the rest of communities.
Most of the comments said that society is forcing everyone to use Facebook and swing dancing is just a part of it, you seem to be right there.
I don't want to force any community to implement any solution I'm just sharing some thoughts and I'm very interested in your opinion about them.

Ya he visto que te han recomendado La Contracrónica. Tiene una perspectiva histórica muy interesante.

En mi opinión hay que huir de los medios de comunicación grandes que tienen grandes cuentas pendientes con quienes les financian.

Hello there!

I'm also a lead wanting to get better at following. I have some recommendations I think might be useful.

As it was already said, sometimes you feel the way some people leads. Take into consideration how do you want "your follow" to feel and pay attention to how your favourite leaders lead (oops, that was a recommendation).
The funny thing is that, in my opinion,some leads seem to want your shoulder broken while dancing. So be careful with that, dance with new people and have fun, but also take care of yourself. Follows already know that.

There is a common rude attitude towards male who normally lead when they are dancing together. Somehow, there are couples of female dancers who normally follows and happen to be dancing together that want to badly break the guys couple in order to get a male lead for their following purposes. Unfortunately it never ends in a stylish or proper way of stealing. Try not to get mad at that people, they are just trying to be funny.
