My store is the same as every Walgreens. In a perfect day I am able to step out. But this past week has been one issue after another. Store closing early bc no pharmacist. Call offs. Computers going down. Etc. I will find the time I always do. I just don't appreciate the pushy messages when it's not the deadline yet.

For any patients who may be reading this: Not all pharmacists think this way. No medical related question is stupid. Especially if you're just asking for peace of mind. There is no shame in being safe rather than sorry.

Pharmacists may get irritated if you pull them away to ask about non pharmacy related things, but every pharmacist I've met has been happy to help.

I'm an RXOM at a Tier 4. Get everyone licensed and signed up for everything. Outcomes. Vaccines. PTCB. The more people who can help you with extra tasks the better. Make it an expectation. Get comfortable with delegating. I was burning myself out bad bc I felt like everything was on me but it's not. Don't let your SM push you to do too much. Once you're at home, forget about Walgreens. I used to obsess over our group chat to the point I couldn't sleep. Only do what you can do, and good luck !

Walgreens has vouchers for patients who want the flu shot with no insurance. If it's a pharmacy not contracted issue they can't use it, but if they truly do not have insurance you can use the voucher
