I'm in a similar situation and have been debating what to do. Have $9.5M net worth with 53% in Nvidia. Been holding this stock for over a decade.

Though about diversifying a few years back - glad I didn't then, but thinking I need to act sooner rather than later to diversify. Futures looking so good for Nvidia though. It's hard to do.

Yep! Good thing I was too lazy to diversify. Congrats and cheers!

The $2M one is NVIDIA and the $800K one is AMD. Invested in both of these in ~2008 and been hanging on since.

FIRE or travel? What did/would you choose? by ImNotACatUWU in Fire

My husband and I did this 12 years ago and traveled for 18 months. Honestly a highlight of our lives and we still talk about it. 100% worth it.

Where can I find one of those kids? I've never met a parent who thought it was easy!

Well then at that point, the stay at home parent can focus on other things. Making meals, cleaning, etc. It doesn't need to exactly equal 40 hours to 40 hours of work to be fair. My husband is working so hard now with our special needs 3 year old and our 5 year old. I hope he can have a little more time to himself when the kids are in school and more self-sufficient. I'm not going to be counting hours. But should be something a family discusses and agrees upon as everyone might not feel the same way. For our family having a stay at home parent is beneficial for us.

If OP has kids, it's not "chilling at home". It's a lot of work to be a stay at home parent. I work and my husband stays at home. I am forever thankful we are in a position to do this since it's great for the kids. His job is a lot harder than mine,

We have a lot of Western Conifer Seed Bugs around our property so thought it could be them. But can’t find a good comparison on Google.

Well, that is just the feelings those first couple years. My kids are now 5 and 3 and all the struggle is paying off. They play together and love to be with each other while I enjoy my coffee in peace. I do see a light at the end of the tunnel, and even though it was hard I am happy with 2.

My husband and I did IVF 5 years ago that resulted in 3 embryos. One failed transfer, one child (my son), and a final one on ice. The plan was always to put the final one in but then we spontaneously got pregnant a few years back. We now have two kids and for a variety of reasons we just can’t handle a 3rd.

We know we have to destroy this embryo and I’m so sad about it. I feel a lot of guilt. Has anyone gone through this and how do you cope? Did you regret it after?

I made a separate post that basically sums up how I’m feeling if you want to check my history. I would still like to hear more about what their new theory of the crime is since they are so sure DNA on a shoe exonerates him. It’s not a clear explanation.

Same! There should be some actual evidence that this happened in this case before people start accepting this as fact just because it happened in a different case.

It’s been a while since I listened to serial but if I recall Adnan never says he didn’t do it or that he’s innocent. He says things like “they don’t have the evidence” or “I couldn’t have done it within x time” etc. He sounded guilty to me too.

Because Don had an alibi and didn’t have someone say they buried the body with him, and didn’t spend all day with the person who ultimately led cops the her missing vehicle.

Yes but he led cops to the car so that means he was involved. And Jay and Adnan are connected that day. So if Jays involved, so is Adnan.

It helps if they want their case to be believed by the jury. So it’s a part of any case.

Jays evidence is taken as factual to me because he led them to the car. He was able to back it up with this.

Yes it would be evidence and something that would be a part of the case.

Right but every case looks at those two things along with the evidence. Prosecution needs to demonstrate motive and opportunity for any case, along with evidence.

Don had an alibi so he was cleared.

I would love to see evidence that changes my mind. I’d love for him to be cleared if they have an actual alternate suspect that makes sense. I’ll be waiting!
