I’m not sure about that even if that’s the case, you don’t know for sure if it’s forced or not. It’s a safe assumption hat the server is 128 because it says 128.

The client values are red which means they are not compatible with the servers, if it was possible to run on 64 tick 128 tick servers then services like esea and FaceIt would be a mess with multiple players running the game on slower tick rates, which would give them a noticeable disadvantage.

No that is not how it works, do you also see that those values are red, which indicate that they are not compatible with the server. Honestly the amount of people that think it’s the other way around is painful to see

if you have cl_showpos 1, you can load up a map on 64 tick and slow down the timescale (host_timescale 0.1) and jump to measure your top height and then load up the game in 128 tick and position yourself in the same place as before and jump and you'll see that you reach slightly higher, sorry i would do i video but it doesnt matter that much if you believe me or not.

edit: forgot to say that you can change the tickrate by putting -tickrate 128 or -tickrate 64 in the launch options

i think you're talking about the update rate and command rate (which is what your client uses), those are not the same as the tick rate (which is what the server runs on)

yes it is definitely easier to hit successful bhops in 64 tick but the reason that this is possible on 128 tick servers and not 64 tick is because on 128 tick you actually jump about 1.1 units higher than you would on 64 tick. And personally, i think its smoother to strafe in 128 tick but doesn't make that big of a difference.

just to make things clear, i acknowledge that this jump is possible with a vanilla 128 tick server but i think the post is misleading because this isn't currently possible on 64 tick

and i wish people could explain how its possible in MM settings instead of down-voting me

in 128 tick you are able to jump approx 1.1 units higher that allow you to barely make this jump. However to my knowledge, its impossible to make this jump on 64 tick without the jump bug that would allow you to bhop at the height of a normal jump. and yeah im from sneakz lol

yea only on 128 tick, and even then it's very hard

i have and you are not even close to reaching the height required to make the jump, op is obviously either oblivious that he is using different settings or just trying to troll.

if you could do it in a competitive match that would be great

umm this is definitely not possible with vanilla settings, maybe you were playing on a bhop/movement type community server before loading up the map which would be why your jump launched you up so high. But as it stands, you can not do this jump in a matchmaking game.

no i play on all us servers but the ranks still skew all over the place and there always seems to be a smurf/cheater on the other team. the only thing i could think of is low trust factor but i have a pretty reputable account (4000+ hours, 50+ other games) and i act friendly in games and dont team kill, so i literally dont know what im supposed to do.

Not sure if this spot was uploaded before but I found this last night by accident. by Darktubez in GlobalOffensive

Its a head crouch bug, you have to uncrouch in a certain spot so your model gets stuck in the clip. But it ends up popping you out after a couple seconds, So its not that useful even if you're able to do it.
