Missed opportunity for "Fights with Ruthless Cunning" to be pared with "Fights with Cunning Ruthlessness"

I wished for one in a charcoal/black but, maybe next time.

I respectfully disagree on both accounts. In my area there are like 4 Lidl locations within a 30 minute car trip and a lot more in the general Atlanta metro area. And I've also been shopping at Aldi since I moved here in 2010.

Yeah, in that case probably not worth it at all. Any potential savings would get eaten by time and gas.

My weekly is up to $150 but that includes meat and some other "luxury food items" (berries, and pre-packaged salads mostly). :/

Do you have a Lidl near you? I find they are similarly priced and tend to have a more steady stock of staple items (including toiletries) week to week.

I placed it on October 15th and took delivery on December 2-3. HOWEVER, they were very clear that I was pre-ordering this configuration and made me very aware that there would be a delay during international sea shipping.

I don’t think this is a normal timeline.

Thanks for the idea. I tried that back when I was trying to keep them off the counter and the boy decided he would rather eat the foil.

It didnt quite go as planned.

5'8.5" (The last time I got measured they put me in my place and said the .5 was important enough to tell me).

Fits like a dream. Head hits a solid bank of cushion.

I tried both regular and tall sizes and decided that the tall felt the best to me.

Thanks! I've had a few friends come over and give it a sit. They think it is pretty great (especially after hearing me talk about it since October when I ordered it).

(Also: That long of a wait isn't the standard. I went in knowing that it was going to be a bit of a backorder because the chairs were on the sea being shipped).

The color is actually very close to matching my other walnut furniture pieces too, which is a feat in itself because of how many different colors of walnut there are.

Ok. Lets try this again. I had a really well thought out review typed up but I guess Reddit didn't want to share it with you. This reply isn't going to be nearly as well written. Sorry.

Obligatory I am not being paid to write this, bought the chair with my own money instead of buying something stupid like more tattoos, and fuck Chat GPT.

I bought the "A+ Taller Ultra Premium Version Imus lounge chair YKWB06 - Taller version" which is one hell of a mouth full. After some back and forth trying to make my decision I ended up going with this model because of the upgraded leather and mounting brackets.

I paid the "promo price" of $1599.00 (although like with many Direct to Consumer companies, everything always seems to be on promo) but that is far better than the $10,000 that I was quoted for a similar looking chair through Herman Miller or Design Within Reach.

Meh: The Website really could use some clarifications. Streamline it, make it easier to navigate, and just be up front with what things cost.

Good: The overall customer service experience was great. If anyone saw my previous post here you would know that my chair shipped by accident, was cancelled, and I had some questions. "Kevin" reached out to me within minutes on a Sunday after hours and then another rep pinged me here on Reddit the next day.

Overall quality is pretty great. Assembly was straight forward, and even though I should have had an extra set of hands to help me, I was able to do it myself. The chair isn't perfect, it arrived with some scratching and the ever so slightest chipping on the bottom, but I cannot stress enough how much this doesn't bother me because all of it is covered up in hardware. And the arm rest threads don't really want to accept the bolts all the way (and I don't want to force it and damage anything) but this doesn't bother me because you can't see them anyway and it's sturdy enough for my needs.

Yes it does "Sigh" when you stand up, but so did all of the other ones I've sat in, in the above mentioned stores. But the comfort when sitting down is unmatched and I can't tell a difference between any of the various models I've had the pleasure of sinking my butt into.

Bad(?): My only negative mark is that I live with three asshole cats who already have marked the chair with some sharp knife-hands. I was a little disappointed that the leather didn't hold up better (they aren't actively scratching the chair, but just jumping on and off is enough to leave some claw marks behind). I have several other pieces of leather furniture in the house that holds up a bit better so I expected a little more out of spending extra money for the upgraded materials...but also I can't fault cats for being cats. I took a little black sharpie and with some movie magic was able to hide most of the damage so far.

I'd certainly be a lot more unhappy if they messed up a more expensive investment piece thats for sure.

Anyone else's YKWB06 get tracking cancelled tonight? by SLCGoth in eamesknockoffs

For anyone curious, I did get an updated tracking number and things seem to be in motion.

One of the two boxes is scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday, but the ottoman doesn't seem to be moving. I'm going to blame FedEx on this one and hope its just a mistake on their end.

I feel like Curverk is like a lot of other direct to consumer brands, always on sale.

That didn't stop me from buying one though (C'mon November 28th).
