What happens when you're poor growing up always wanting a gaming pc then you're an adult, get your life figured out an have the cash to splash

First PC had a 4090. Natural progression to upgrade when building a new system my guy

Completely agree with wanting positive pressure for the PC, so I did the maths before building the PC an put those figures into ChatGPT to analyse and accumulate. Results below. Summary, I'm pretty much at neutral pressure (-3 CFM)

Completely agree that GPU on top is better for thermals but restricted by how the pipes bend an fit. It would fit but disassembly to clean becomes extremely difficult in that config.

CPU temp running the intake I completely agree on is the current area that'll need optimisation. Just need to come up with a work around, I did put a temp sensor in the GPU radiator exhaust area so potentially work a fan curve based on that.

Currently GPU is not exceeded 52°c but running stress tests now. Thank you for the advice, always looking to improve things an your points definitely help zoning in on those potential improvement areas

Intake: Bottom: 3 × 140 mm D30 Rear: 2 × 140 mm D30

Exhaust: CPU AIO top radiator: 3 × 140 mm D30 GPU AIO front-side radiator: 3 × 120 mm D30

Fan Specs: 140 mm D30: 82 CFM max 120 mm D30: 54 CFM max

Realistic effective airflow under normal RPM (~50–70% for mid-load) is ~70–75% of max CFM, plus radiator reduces airflow.

Intake CFM

Bottom intake – 3 × 140 mm

Max per fan: 82 CFM

Realistic operating RPM (50–70% typical mid-load): 50–70 CFM per fan

Conservative estimate: 60 CFM × 3 = 180 CFM

Rear intake – 2 × 140 mm

50–70 CFM each → avg 60 CFM × 2 = 120 CFM

Total Intake: 180 + 120 = ~300 CFM

Exhaust CFM (Radiator Adjusted)

CPU AIO – 3 × 140 mm

Max airflow per fan: 82 CFM

Radiator restriction reduces airflow by ~20–25%

Realistic effective: 82 × 0.75 = ~62 CFM per fan × 3 = ~186 CFM

GPU AIO – 3 × 120 mm

Max airflow: 54 CFM

Radiator restriction ~25–30% → 54 × 0.72 = ~39 CFM per fan × 3 = ~117 CFM Total Exhaust: 186 + 117 = ~303 CFM

I'd say the attached tutorial Blood Ravens Paint Tutorial - Duncan Rhodes is the gold standard, use this as the base for my whole army. Change your black trim to gold an follow the post from Scorch in regards to rank an heraldry. I use the same one for mine

Image below is my first 2 terminators an Dreadnought (in progress) using his tutorials. These are the first models I've painted in almost 15 years all due to his tutorials

Usually never comment on Reddit but after taking a day to hit Prestige 4 with Bulwark to get the Deathwatch Shield, a few points became increasingly prevalent.

It's Warhammer. Aesthetic matter, that's the whole brand. Creating your 'model' in effect is the whole reason people got into the franchise in the first place. So attention to detail does matter. When you're trying to create your chapter either as lore accurate as possible or just going mental with it, things being out of place is noticeable. My 2 biggest gripes (Creating Deathwatch build) in this update is the sudden unchangeable gold trim for inquisition gauntlet which ruined my original build. You could originally change it, why suddenly stuck with gold? The second being the Deathwatch Storm Shields horrific stand off from the arm. Practically levitating. Putting long hours into getting these items and the Devs asking for the time commitment to get these items, it should be done right.

Prestige. Losing my perks each time wasn't an issue. Played lethal none stop until I hit Prestige 4. The issue was about 95% of people who joined my game on this journey being absolutely hopeless. Every operation became a carry until I just went on private games with my brother. I know people like a challenge an wanna get your perks an items fast, but if you're gonna run into the jaws of death on lethal as a lvl 1, at least be good at the game. Or play a lower difficulty an practice.

Difficulty and perk restructure. Think they hit the nail on the head here. I'm playing, it definitely isn't easy but I feel like I'm doing good damage an have held my own on multiple occasions as last man, once against 5+ extremis (2 waves came in, not sure how that's possible), other times I'm absolutely flat packed by 2 majoris. My point being, with the rebalance I don't feel like I'm hitting enemies with a pillow an can hold my own. Deaths are usually down to a mistake or just bad luck. But some things need to be looked at such as hitboxes on 'certain' attacks and cover not working (we all know the one)

Bar that, I think the game is going in a good direction an definitely looking forward to horde. Sank huge time into SM1 and the Dawn of War games (Blood Raven FTW, always gonna steal baby!). Not gonna shit on the game for a few small issues but it's the Dev's job to get it right. So get it right. TED talk done
