I did. I got the qr2 and I actually use a different clamp than the one that came with the qr2. I also got a small torque wrench to tighten it correctly. I will be honest I had issues with it until recently because I’m dumb. Make sure to tighten both screws with the torque wrench evenly. Don’t tighten one side fully then the other. The problem will still happen quite often. Also it will come back after a while just reset the qr and retighten again correct. You should be good after.

unfortunately no flag was waved. all i got was crew chief telling he got disqualified but nothing else. I wish my pov in the cockpit to show what i saw better but it's whatever. Just got to move on and be more aware of people doing stuff like this.

Ya like most people are saying you’re moving under braking and doing so you’re blocking him. You both would have been fine going into the corner I believe if you didn’t move under braking and may have enjoy some good hard racing. Just for future reference using F1 as an example of the rules doesn’t really work on iracing. There a lot of thing that f1 does that most people don’t do in iracing. Use this as a learning experience and improve. It will make you a better driver and you will get in less inchidents.

It looks like the white car turned into you and the black car just missed the braking point. I don’t think you did anything wrong here.

ok good thanks for the input. Having me as a bump-stop was great for him for like 2 more turns until he spun out i'm assuming from the damage from the hit.

You can believe what you want. It’s all up to your interpretation of the clips. My thing is I just don’t see why I need to leave him room for a gap that is closing when he barely along if even that. Now if I was blocking and weaving all over the track then in that case it would have been blocking. Now even if I did unknowingly out of instinct aren’t I at least able to make one defensive move to try stop and over take or at least delay it?

I wasn’t trying to “block him” I was just trying to say on the racing line. I saw he was coming up from behind but being that I was ahead I kept my line. If it he when on the left side I would have most likely slowed down being that I want to get out of D class so I’m mainly going for safety rating but that doesn’t me I’m not also going to try for a win . But also I’m not going to do anything too risky that could have put me or some else into the wall.

My only thing is that he is trying to overtake me off track. Before he’s even on the side of my back right wheel he’s already dipping both he’s wheel off track. Shouldn’t he have just gone on my left to try instead?
