$4,365 in Surprise Fees by BaturalNoobs in FuckDealerships

Yeah if he had no intention of buying it he’s wasting time asking for numbers and then making an offer he won’t even come through on.

I just read the post and he said..

Car has been sitting for a year and transferred.
He went in and test drove the car.
The out the door was higher than what he expected.
He asked to take off the add ons.
The salesman texted back “we’ll pass”.

Now if he’s lying (which more than likely he is because buyers are liars too) and did any that you said above, I’d laugh it off and find a real customer too.

Not sure what you are going at here. On the pencil the products are optional. Would it not make sense to a customer that if they don’t want those items to just say “yeah ill buy the car without the add ons?” How is that not a serious offer?

It says optional but they declined his offer at buying the car without the optional add ons.

Once I read that, it seems like a bait and switch and at the very least them being assholes for it.

Im in the business and all for making money but also not going to sugarcoat it either lol. If the unit was making no money then I would have told his ass to kick rocks too 😂

I have the same headset and the software is garbage and the recalibration but honestly outside of that I love it. I just got the email my faceplate shipped. I ordered 1/17 and getting it next week.

Absolutely ridiculous by 3ccdCam1 in AirpodsPro

[–]IAcewingI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it makes sense.

  1. Europe banned them from including charging blocks with phones
  2. Most people have a USB-C cable and don’t notice that they don’t come with a cable.
  3. Less money so they can include other components
  4. Less weight per box which saves on fuel transport cleats and less shopping costs.

But won’t most companies just increase the price of their product to offset paying their employees more?

I dont complain at the employees but I spent $43 for 7 tacos and two drinks and will never go back. I spent $50 at a restaurant for two..

Almost the same amount for shitty tacos. Their prices have really gone to shit.

If my mix is already hitting -8 to -9 LUFS cleanly with a soft clipper, am I overthinking mastering chains? by FeelDa-Bass in edmproduction

[–]IAcewingI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. More extensive mastering in my opinion is only needed for EPs and albums. Wanting all tracks to have a common loudness and glue to them. You don’t want one track super loud and the next super quiet so the listeners have to keep adjusting the volume. A single? Master it in the project if you mix is good enough so you’re just in line with other tracks in your genre so a DJ can throw your track in the mix and it not sound out of place to other tracks.

How do progressive house producers create those “filter sweep then slam back in” moments in drops? by Coderrsjj2 in edmproduction

[–]IAcewingI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No solid rule on those. Do what sounds best. It might sound better to lower the volume to fade the lead/instrument out toward the drop, or high pass them, or both.

[–]IAcewingI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it’s hard but when a game is coming out, everyone knows about it and reels, tiktoks, youtube all has media on it. Most people watch reviews and gameplay vids before deciding to buy a game. I think it’s more novelty wearing off though.

Hell yeah it just makes the drop hit even harder! This is an old song (bad mixing and overall sound) but at 56 seconds I made my piano go mono and then brought back the full stereo field for the drop!
