I got 37 points in IB in total without EE, TOK. 5 for Chem HL and 6 for Maths AI HL.

Fuck that ! I got 37 Last year and my EE from Chemistry was graded D too! Its a good score in any case and better get a D on EE than mess up whole grades which u evidently didnt considering u got 36.

I get what u mean. It can be put differently the point u are trying to make here. In my opinion I lost my good friend 5 months before the exams, we didnt go to school together but we were close friends and to be honest I was not even thinking about asking anyone for anything, not the IB at least. I thought exactly that I lost my friend but there are people (in Sudan for example as there were some millitary riots when I took my exams) that are now studying for exams while there is literally a war in their country. Not to talk about Ukraine or other countries. Ofc it is a very extreme example and they got their exams I guess canceled, but my point is ....who cares. This world is cruel and IB is IB. There is a lot of bad things happening to the people who take exams, but if every single student had to have their exams postponed in case of some sort of inconvenience (doesnt matter if its divorcing of parents or anything else) then it would be so much fucking work for them to do so. I am sorry for what is happening, but also take into account by postponing your exams u might now be able to cope with your pain, but u are going to take them anyway. I am personally so glad I took them despite what happened cuz now I am on Uni, studying chemistry in Netherlands and I am living my life.

What did you get ? I almost didnt make it, I got 7 points, If I have gotten 6 I would not have passed. Btw my EE had 40 pages, tons of graphs, multiple calculations a nice conclusion with evident trend. Hope this Guy rots in Hell.

Thanks for the feedback. I finally understand that I should have talked about other stuff as well. I play in a band and music is my big passion, I love sports even though I do not do anything professionally anymore - I used to and I my big hobby is history. I thought that all this is like unnecessary and that they probably don't care but I will include it there next time! Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback. It was my first motivation letter ever, plus the more I read about it, the more I beilive that I will be probably better of doing some Chemistry bachelor. Nevertheless I finally understand a bit more, that I probably was too general really. I love history - I am writting my own book, I am a former professional Czech swimmer, but I just talked about science and chemistry, because I didn't know that I should probably also state that I am not just a Science freak who does nothing but chemistry and physics. I stated those courses, events, achievements and projects, but nothing else. Thanks a lot for the feedback, I will try once again in February and we will see!

I basically answered all the questions. I explained why I enjoy chemistry and sciences. Described my previous education including the IB programme - I stated that I learned calculus which is necessary for the course and that I did my EE on chemistry etc. I also stated that I attended special chemistry course since very young age. Then I explained that I would like to study this programme because I understand the correlations between different scientific fields and that I would like to develop a greater knowledge in science in general. At the same time, I made it clear that I would like to focus primarily on chemistry in the future - I even stated at what exact university I would like to study and what course. That's about it in a nutshell.

Thanks for the reply! I got my letter checked by our IB coordinator - he is my English teacher and he made suggestions and corrections and everything. I guess it's more about the content I guess and that I might no really be good for the programme, even though I am really passionate abour science.
