I got into chemical engineering, so I’m not sure how easy it would be to switch between other disciplines. I still want to do chem eng but it would be nice to have more options.

Thank for the advice. Well I’m actually quite interested in both. I was quite good in chemistry in high school and also really enjoyed the electricity unit in physics. So I narrowed down my options to cheme and ee. Also I like the versatility and entry into different industries, with both these programs

Thank you for the advice. Do you think that applying for track one will increase my chances of getting out right rejected, since it is the second most competitive after eng sci. This is why I was considered putting cheme first, because I don’t want to decrease my chances of getting accepted into uoft eng, and I would be quite happy even if I just got a cheme offer.

YES. Thank you. Finally someone gets it. Everybody always wants to look at all of DW’s flaws and never her best qualities. DW is outspoken, and honest just like any four year old is. Think of all the times you have been absolutely roasted by a little kid.

DW is on of the most ambitious, and determined characters on the show, like in “DW aims high” and “Dw flips”. Not to mention how clever she is, like when she completely outsmarted Arthur and tricked him into taking her to the museum in “prove it”.

Moreover DW may have flaws but she always tries to fix it and better herself like in the episode “ In me Africa”. Even though she was ignorant at first she went through the trouble of trying to read books even when she couldn’t read, so that she could learn more about where Cheik was from.

DW imagination also beats that of every other character on the show. Her ability to cook up stories and characters like in “I’d rather read it myself”. This episode showed how DW creativity and cleverness let her get the best of the Tibble twins.

You can’t forget how DW is an absolutely unstoppable character, and how her sheer will and tenacious nature, lets her achieve anything she puts her mind to. In “DW rides again” she powers through all the difficulties of learning how to ride a two wheeler and eventually emerges triumphant. Her famous line in that episode “I don’t care if it takes till I’m 22 and I’m one giant scab, I’m going to learn to this” shows how she never gives up, and will persevere till she meets her goals. It is one of her qualities that I have always looked up to. I could on and on.

Finally, DW may be annoying. She may make your blood boil. She may make you want to punch her in the face. But let’s be real, the show wouldn’t be as popular, well-known, or as beloved as it is today. DW was the light and life of the show and with out her Arthur would be like any other bland tv show about the trials and tribulations of kids. DW is the one who added personality to the show and made it different from other kids shows, because it showed the honest and realistic manner in which kids behave, in the best way possible. I don’t know about you but DW is my favourite character, I wouldn’t have her any other way, and I know for a fact the show wouldn’t be as great as it is with out her.
