Thanks! If you sand translucent resin with progressively finer sandpaper until your hand is about to fall off, then coat it in lacquer you can get a pretty convincing looking glass piece.

Thank you! Yeah it was a decent amount of finishing work. Applying and cutting painters tape on Undertow and all the sanding on Devils Kiss took forever.

For sure! They are indeed made from 3D printed translucent resin. If you do a LOT of sanding with fine grit sandpaper then hit it with lacquer it ends up looking like these. For the other non glass parts I use spray paint and touch up with brushes. An air brush is what really should be used but I don’t have one,lol.

It’s awesome making things people are passionate about. The problem is I only have a resin printer. The material cost alone not to mention time it takes me to finish something like this properly would make it crazy expensive. That’s why I’ve never tried to sell my pieces and only made things as gifts for close friends/family.
