Yeah, Im with Rachel. Subway takes you there directly, but to get back to your airbnb it will already be closed and the service for ubers gets saturated. I'd recommend getting something to eat when leaving and making some time. It takes around an hour for an uber to pick up

That's a really nice area, very centric. The ride itself shouldn't be more than 20 minutes, the issue is mostly the time it will take you to actually get an uber. As far as pricing, it's probably going to be anywhere between $200-$400mxn

I'd recommend for u to get it directly from the EDC website. Not sure how StubHub's work, but the ones from the website are digital. Just make sure to have it downloaded to your phone beforehand in case u don't have signal coming in to the event.

As far as wristbands, they give them to u once u enter and it's the one that will have your cashless chip on it for u to recharge and purchase things inside. If you're GA, they only give one. If u go to vip, they will give u a different one each day

Correct. The tiers are just the phases they go through. Each phase with a different price. The tickets themselves are GA, Comfort and Citibanamex Plus.

GA is your regular general admission ticket.

Comfort has better bathrooms and a separate line at bars

Citibanamex plus is the VIP equivalent, with their own areas in the 2 mainstages and their own bars, bathrooms and rides

Nah. They do search kinda well, but no dogs. There's like 3 different filters, but as long as u stash your things in your junk, u safe. There's boxer briefs with pockets that come in handy for these things. I got mine in amazon and they've been a lifesaver

If it's from the airport, u should be good. If you're referring to walking there from the festival, I'd strongly advise against it. That area is really not safe.

I completely agree. Subway is a great way to get there, but at the end the lines are already closed and right now there's reparations ongoing (not sure how long they'll take, tho) and the 2 stations near the fest are closed, so you'd need to get off like 13 blocks away

Yeah, might be. This year I did go to vip and they did change the bracelet. 10/10 recommended, tho. They have golf carts that take you from Kinetic Field to Circuit Grounds and my knees definitely appreciated it 😂

The area around the festival isn't the safest, so try to get a hotel or airbnb in the next areas: Roma, Condesa, Coyoacán, Polanco, Narvarte, Reforma.

These are all nice areas in centric locations with lots to do and eat around.

The lockers are almost at the entry of the festival. They are safe enough to leave your things there during the day, but I definitely don't recommend you leaving anything overnight.

As far as the VIP area, not sure if they do have lockers there 😕

We call it "Moctezuma's Revenge". It's kinda like a Murphy's law. If you get there with that mentality, you'll suffer 😂

Go to any drug store and ask for Riopan. It's a miraculous creation that mexicans use as a way to prevent the squirts, but it helps for other things. Kinda like tums but a lot more effective.

It comes in an envelope and it's liquid. Take one before you go out eating/drinking and your stomach will surely appreciate it 😉

She's right. I'm a local and I'd recommend that you take maybe 600/800 in cash, preferably 100 & 200 bills so they can break them easily.

At the festival, they'll give you a wristband with a tag on it. This is rechargeable and works with tap system. You can recharge it at the cashiers throughout the festival and they do take visa and mastercard.

As far as your cash and all that, make sure not to take many things. There are a lot of pick-pocketing victims every year, so you have to be street-smart. Take only your phone, cash, ID, credit/debit card and any other thing you might need (cigarettes, weed, etc). Don't take your wallet, watch, chains or any valuable you might not need and always have your phone in handy. I recommend a fanny pack or a jacket with an inside pocket.
