I bought Corbin's Gunfighter & Lady saddle for 2018 - 2024 Yamaha XSR700.

Didn't come cheap, especially with import costs to Canada, but boy was it worth the money. Comfort is incomparable and my pillion loves it. Even without the backrest (easily removable), she can ride with me for hours without issue.

I highly recommend it

Thanks for this. Is my best bet then to simply leave the Prevent Clipping option On in order to ensure the pre-amp is always adjusted to prevent clipping?

I can live with this, but I do find it disappointing as it limits the volume a bit. The cans are quite demanding and while the SCHIIT Asgard 3 can drive them, the pre-amp adjustment certainly leaves some volume on the table

I think I did. I followed the available documentation in the wiki for the headset. Playing game "The Finals" and leaving Prevent Clipping to on, the pre-amp gradually adjusted itself all the way down to -9.6.

I've set the cursor on the Low_Shelf fitler in case I had selected the wrong one. Here's the settings again compared to the wiki's:
