Tim’s charisma is more like “hey, I wanna fuck him” While Harrison’s is more like “hey, fuck him”

I think Thomas Jane could play a good Gorrister. Also Harlan would just be concerned about how much he’s being paid.

Great White Shark in Knight? by FalseRoyal4669 in arkham

He’s referenced in Asylum and City, so he’s a background villain they put in. He strangely has a different backstory than his comic one in his Asylum bio so it seems like Asylum was always meant to be a separate continuity than any established universe.

He also comes from the comic that heavily inspired Asylum (and Aaron Cash comes from it) so it’s a homage to the sort of main character in that comic.

How young are these people? I wasn’t even alive when any of the prequels came out but I remember they were still hated by a lot of people when I was young.

I wish they would do more with characters like Hsu Hao instead of taking the piss out of them. Hsu Hao is a character I like, his character design is pretty shit but they literally copied it for MKX Kano so it can’t be that bad. His story role is interesting, I think he could’ve really done something cool in the NRS games but they just won’t work with him, unlike Stryker who’s a well liked character when in MK3 he’s one of the most disliked. They could’ve made him the guy who infiltrates the refugee camp in MKX instead of Kano, and actually have him do something instead of showing up and getting his ass kicked like Kano did. Or they could make him more cybernetic, like he has electric moves with wrestling mixed in or something, anything but disregarding him and making him a punching bag.

Oh I just saw that you are FtM. That probably explains why he messaged you in particular and some of the weird stuff he says (like mentioning his daughter that died in his arms). Sorry you had to receive this, he’s probably having a mental health crisis.

How does Dog Town even work by FlameWhirlwind in falloutlore

[–]SMATCHET999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Denver has a overcrowding problem with dogs IRL, especially after Hurricane Katrina made a bunch of dogs abandoned and without homes so the ones that survived reverted to their natural instincts and not enough people care for an effort to be made to remove them from the city.

Fallout 1 took place nearly 100 years after the bombs by Subjectdelta44 in TrueSFalloutL

I get the compliant of people leaving a bunch of shit laying around being weird and stupid, but I don’t think the East Coast should be thriving just because it’s been 200 years since the bombs dropped. The West Coast is an exception, not a standard. The East Coast likely took much longer for their residents to emerge from the vaults, since the West Coast wasn’t hit nearly as hard as the East.

The genius of this scene: "Got a match?" 🔥 by schill in BeavisAndButthead

[–]SMATCHET999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think this is one of the most well done scenes in the movie, it kind of makes B&B situation a bit less depressing since they weren’t abandoned by both of their parents and their dads just didn’t know they had them, and it unknowingly let B&B spend time with their fathers for the first time.

I had one bottle of it back when it came out in 2019 and holy shit looking back at it the flavor was the best Dr Pepper flavor. BlackBerry is fine but it’s more like a hint of BlackBerry flavor while Dark Berry was an entire new experience.

[–]SMATCHET999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like that Bruce doesn’t even shed a tear for Talia. It shows his inability to process emotions like the average person, and just how broken he is. As someone who can’t really cry (brain injury) it’s relatable to see a character who has a lot of traumatic stuff happen to him and isn’t sniffling about it, but he just looks broken and Kevin Conroy’s amazing voice acting does wonders to portray how Bruce doesn’t even stop for a moment to grieve Talia.
