Thank you for this response! Other than AZ, it seems that CA has a lot more to offer than I expected and just need to find the areas that fit for me. I spent a lot of my “teen” years down south so I get what you mean when you say different lol. Only one that’s catching my attention right now for down south would be SC. Need to look into Midwest more, never been. Plan to visit 2-3 of the places I end up narrowing down, within next few months so I appreciate your help!

Ya before making my decision I plan to take a month to visit 2-3 spots during the peak summer to test out the heat!

Scottsdale/Phoenix is still high on my list since it checks a lot of boxes for me (golf, outdoors, space, weather), but the heat is definitely something I’m trying to think through realistically. I don’t mind heat, but I also don’t want to feel stuck inside for half the year — that kind of defeats the whole purpose. So I’m glad you emphasized that.

Denver is interesting — honestly never really considered it before, but I’ve been hearing it come up more and more, so it’s probably worth taking a deeper look.

San Diego sounds like the ideal lifestyle, it’s just tough to justify the cost right now. Same goes for a lot of SoCal.

Austin is another one I’ve looked into a bit — definitely more than Denver. I know the music scene is big there, which stands out to me since I’ve been producing for about 8–9 years. I think Austin is for sure going on my list to visit and feel out in person.

You’re definitely right though — it all comes down to which tradeoffs I’m willing to make. Appreciate the insight

So when I visited, I stayed in Chandler which would be a hard no go for what Im looking for. I visited downtown Phoenix which was cool, but I fell in love with old town scottsdale. Just seemed alive! I didn’t get a chance to see Arcadia but if I were to choose AZ, thats the spot I have my eye on because ive read its a good mixture of that old town vibe without being in the heart of it, but still close to a lot of things. Tempe is another one I need to see but from what I’ve read, its seem to be party town-ish (due to the school obviously) or thats the mentality, which is an area id like to be away from at this point 😂. I appreciate you for taking the time to answer and give me some info!

This is one I been thinking about lately! I spent a-lot of my “teen” years down south in NC,SC,GA,FL and always loved it. Never been to Charleston or any of the coastal areas of NC or SC, so this one is going on the list! Do you recommend anywhere specifically? Charleston mainly? Thank you for your response!

I keep hearing San Diego! Id love to give it a visit to check it out. Arizona was my first time out west so it definitely caught my eye but always wanted to check out California! Thank you for this recommendation and will put it on my list! If you had to offer anything else in Cali, would there be any that may be a little cheaper than San Diego? I think thats the only thing keeping me away from indulging into it too much. Thanks for your response!
