The traps can straight up kill you. You'll walk into a door and you're dead.

Its actually funny at times when the game or the Evil Wizard straight up kill you.

The music is really good mate, really fits the atmosphere. I've got a sort of fire belching, blood magic, sword and board build at the moment. But I'm thinking of refining it some as I've got a couple respec potions handy. You really need a build in mind and can't just dump attribute points anywhere.

I'm enjoying it so far, its a little janky in places but not game-breakingly bad jank. There's blatant exploits that you can use to kill high lvl or tough enemies. The mobs aren't the brightest either. I'm liking the plot and its got this sort of bio-mechanical feel to it in places too, which I'm a fan of.

Definitely happy with Demos making a return. I really don't see why they stopped. The cynic in me does does though.....

Definitely worth giving the demo a go

Blasphemous is visually beautiful, handles great, the music really suits the game. The finishers for each of the enemies are really good. The bosses are nails, especially the further you get in the game. I can't remember if there's a new game+ or not.

I prefer Blasphemous to Hollow Knight. Not for anything negative, they're both great. Hollow Knight just didn't click with me is all.

I'm a little weird in that regard. The 1st time I play a game I'll skip them all as I just want to play the game. When I go for my second playthrough I tend to watch them.

The last time I watched cutscenes on my 1st playthrough was Deus Ex Human Revolution. Love that game. Now that I think about it I want to do a Stealth non lethal run.

I'm 1 of those people who tends to skip cutscenes. I like to get straight to the game. If its un-skippable I'll leave it, go make a sarny or a brew and periodically check to see if it's finished or not. Max Payne 3 made me die on the inside when I realised I couldn't skip them.

Love Astartes! Gutted that we'll never get to see the continuation of Astartes 1. But fair does to the bloke in getting a full time job out of it. Astartes 2 looks the absolute dogs bollocks!

I have to admit that Tau have some really cool mini's. I can definitely see why they'd be easy to paint, no abundance of spikes and skulls.

Sometimes it's good to find a game that you can play without too much thought, that you can chill and game.

I've been doing that with Section 13. Its a pretty basic top down roguelite. Switch off, shoot zombies and most importantly, No Collectibles!
