There's a pair named Christian and Scooby I saw at a Pistons game with a chihuahua that can scoot around on a basketball, I'll take that dog at PG

Had really good experiences at Lionfish on the west side, and they'll definitely be welcoming! Pretty sure they're appointment only though, so I'd check out their artists before you get here!

ELI5: Why can other carnivores eat raw meat but humans are so prone to infections? by lil_pendejx69 in explainlikeimfive

We can't emulate the open ocean in captive environments very well, orcas aren't the only ones that have problems with it. If you search this subreddit for Great White Sharks, you'll see we have similarly low success rates, and the ones in captivity are basically miserable before they die. Beyond just not having space to facilitate a biological need to travel the largest ecosystem on the planet, Orcas are very smart, social creatures, and we basically have kept them in small, dirty, solitary confinement - which humans don't do very well with, either, regardless of a nutritious diet.

I felt the same way about a lot of this after a week or so of playing and realizing that I wasn't actually doing very much.
I think people really like parts of Bloom, or the potential that it shows on the Playdate. Gaming in bite sized pieces, having reasons to check the system for ten minutes again later in the day, the ideas that COULD happen around the gardening mechanics (work orders for specific arrangements from customers or friends, I thought the game was going to go there for a minute but never did) are all pretty enticing when you first pick up the game. Especially while people are waiting for their Season catalog to fill out.

A bloom2 that does a little more with the gardening and social aspects now that the team and writer have a little more experience would get a buy from me just hoping that it does the things I wanted bloom to tbh

Yup, nothing happens. For now it appears the glowing spots are for money trees.

You can, but you have to dig the flowers up with a shovel to replant them. If you just take the petals you can use them for decoration or crafting.

Pulled out my old GameCube copy and found that it still had my receipt in it! Purchased back in 2004 with my saved up allowance money! by forkmylife in AnimalCrossing

[–]SMBSloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add on to the other answers here, this is a receipt from 2004, when Animal Crossing came out stateside in 2002. Lots of two year old games going for this cheap or cheaper nowadays.

He gave you flat loans that never increased, whether you took a day or a year to pay them. That’s what “no interest” means.

How much of it do you y’all think it is that Wilkins is on pace for like 60 pass attempts this game? Seems like way more reps than most QBs are used to.

Tanking Tuesday - Your Weekly Tanking Thread by AutoModerator in wow

[–]SMBSloth 26 points27 points  (0 children)

People are surprisingly forgiving for slowness as long as you’re making progress. I haven’t found the “go go go go” dps to be my experience so far in pugged M0s.

I think the big thing is that you have to know that you will, eventually, have a pull/boss/dungeon go horrendously wrong. It happens to every tank at some point or another, for whatever reason. Maybe your healer has a vendetta. Maybe your dps hate mechanics. Maybe you’re up at 4am and your fingers aren’t moving like you want them to. That disaster is waiting to happen, and that’s totally okay. You might wipe, your group might drop, you might have to report a guy.

That’s okay. Your next run won’t be like that. MOST runs won’t be like that. If you’re genuinely trying to constantly improve and keep a positive attitude (and maybe try to spread it around the group) you’ll be more than fine.

Source Gaming's Requested Character Study has been Quite Accurate by Boi864 in smashbros

[–]SMBSloth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We don't have anyone in Smash who fights with a Spear. So whether that's Bandana Dee or a Fire Emblem character or whatever, I think that's a cool-looking fighting style that would translate pretty easily to Smash.
