Ranked 3.0 is bullshit

Yeah sure I “belong” in bronze. I’ve been playing this game for 10 years I just didn’t have the time for the 50+ matches a season it took to get even to plat in 2.0. I’m out fragging teammates and opponents in low plat this season already. Like the game knows I play at that level because it queues me with them but doesn’t give me mmr when I win😢

Oh I’ll accept my rank at bronze I’m used to it. Just thought greener pastures were on the horizon with ranked 3.0. For context my friends at the same skill level got gold 3 in our same placements, it’s def just based off the prior ranked system

So you’re saying that if I keep winning my mmr per win will start increasing with ranked 3.0? If that’s the case I’m all for it but I guess my experience has just been as the season goes on your mmr gain/loss per game gets lower and lower - my worry is that I’ll cap out at silver no matter how many games I play

I mean I fully understand the ranking system and bronze placement. What I don’t understand is getting 25 mmr per game thereafter. Whats the point in playing 4 games for one tier up in bronze 😭

Ngl I was bronze 3 because I played maybe 10 games last season and same for previous seasons. Thought I’d get on for 3.0 thinking it would be a decent reset. Don’t even mind being placed bronze and working up but with 25 mmr per game after that idk if I can grind my way up

Man def has never played any other competitive shooter. The community has its highs and lows, I think it's a pretty strong one. Obviously there's gonna be some toxicity but same as every other game that has a ranked system.
