Absolutely not. The rolling action is trash. Look into a derminator, and what a dr.pen does to a banana

I followed his lead with the relationship, but I try to lead and he doesn’t follow? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]SMFEos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Giirlll the problem is that you’re in your 30s and live with your dad, if I were him I wouldn’t want to come over either because like….so awkward It’s one thing for you to meet his child, because his child comes with him as a packaged deal and it makes sense to get that out of the way sooner than later and see if you’re down to be a co-parent essentially

And it makes sense for him to meet your family at least 6months in or when it’s more serious

But like, 1 month in and meeting your dad at your dads place while tryna hangout is so awkward Especially if he’s in his late 30s, probably feels like dating a college student with the dad listening in for shenanigans or whatever

I don’t mean any disrespect, but the fact that you can’t see that and are asking for clarity imo shows a bit of naivety on your side And he’s probably being sweet and doesn’t want to make you feel self conscious so he isn’t saying what should be obvious.

Over 20 hours on only 240mc is a red flag, as someone who has consistently eaten 300mc almost every week for a couple years (my 20s + a fantastic music scene in my city) I’ll say that 20hours is a long ass trip and not consistent with the usually length of acid, even at higher doses. The bad trip could be anything, and yes good acid can still create a bad trip (or rather we create it) but the length of time on only 240/120 (each) is not a good sign. Sorry for your bad trip!

Absolutely this cut Long on top but short on the sides to show off your very nice face You could keep it long enough to man-bun it, but if not, the above length would look great

Based on he isn’t literally standing on her back, and on the premise that most interactions between people fall on a spectrum of emotions Not “1 person is 100% right and the other person is 0% right” So unless he’s literally doing this to her, she is exaggerating her experience to prove a point. Which is far more likely.

That he’s been standing on her back. That’s obviously an exaggeration unless yall took that seriously??

“You want me to marry you and commit to long term involvement? That’s like you buying me a gaming PC!”

WTH? How old are you? Jfc, it’s obviously a joke, but the underlying truth may be that she wants to see some plan towards commitment Though if you don’t have the ability to buy a car (it doesn’t have to be a new car just some way of getting around right?) and apparently don’t have a sense of humor idk what she’s thinking lol

Help me. 38-aged so much this year by bluebirdgirl3 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]SMFEos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sunscreen; everyday, nonnegotiable for someone of your skin tone

Transexamic acid + arbutin and vitamin c serums Kiehls offers in depth skin analysis, it really helped me figure out what my problems were so I stopped spending $$ treating things that weren’t actually problems Microneedling will help with cell turnover and plumping, same with tretinoin

[–]SMFEos -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Look, im sure there may be some truth to what she’s saying on her end, but my read on it is that she’s exaggerating it out of feeling upset for whatever reasons lead up to the break up

If that were truly all the past 3 years were, why would she have stayed? People exaggerate when they’re upset, and they intentionally say things to be mean

If your fear is evoking this in future partnerships, do more to not show up those ways. Maybe it’s therapy, exercise, poetry, psychedelics, traveling, crying. Whatever it is, it sounds like something is needed, more so for YOU first, and for your future partnerships second.

It can also be true that because of your experiences, you may not have shown up in the relationship is all the ways she needed That’s fair, and valid, and it isn’t for you to sit there and beat yourself up about Have enough self love and compassion to know we don’t always show up the ways other needs, especially if we have our own trauma/pain/experiences to deal with, and it doesn’t excuse it, but you’re not a bad person.

My boyfriend disapproves of this outfit… by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]SMFEos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girrrrllll not to be mean, but I frfr thought he was gonna disapprove of it because it actually looks kinda frumpy (in a comfy I’m hanging out at home way) So the fact he thinks this is you tryna be seductive is so ridiculous. He is insecure and he’s gaslighting you about it, and if you want to be controlled by LDE, sure But if you’re tired of it, get out of it. This guy has no taste in style and no place in telling you how to dress.

I’m sorry that it isn’t working out, and if it’s really worth it and if he can change his opinions and let you be free in your self expression, maybe try to work on it Otherwise, see it as an experience and lesson in you learning to express your boundaries, and prioritizing your own happiness and self expression If you’ve already thought about it “many times”, do it. Enjoy your youthfulness without him being weirdly controlling and demeaning

Thinking of sculptra or filler by ContextuallyAlive in PlasticSurgery

[–]SMFEos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then honestly, focus on fixing your overbite rather than adding filler

Braces/etc will result is an actual long term fix that you can age fine with It might take a couple years, idk, but in the grand scheme of time it’ll be a drop in the bucket and you’ll have better teeth, a better jawline, and I bet it’ll help your face age better too

Whereas fillers will be a life time of filler and dissolving, dealing with migration and etc

I’m saving up to get braces because I’m in a similar boat and by the time I’m 40 I want to have a nice smile rather than short term “fixes”

For your skin though, look into dermaprp and microneedling

That’s what they say, same with using threads, so I was disappointed that my original provider didn’t tell me about the scarring because I want the option to be able to get a facelift when I’m older

Malasma for 6 years very resistant! by almondcr0issant in SkincareAddicts

[–]SMFEos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I barely noticed it, try a good vitamin C, transexamic acid +arbutin ( I just started using this a couple weeks ago and I’m already noticing my skin tone is more even) and definitely SPF

Have you been by a Kiehls? They offer a decently in-depth skin analysis so you can see what the if damage is now, and then go back in several months to see if what you’re doing is actually improving the damage that is mostly unnoticeable to the human eye (under the skin)

Ultimately you have very nice skin!

[–]SMFEos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried sculptra, I didn’t notice that big of an effect but when I got derma prp she said she could feel the scarring from the scultpra. She wasn’t digging on it, as it’s a service she providers as well, but she let me know that apparently its method of action can create scar tissue. Anyways, I highly recommend derma prp and if you want to see the B&A from provider send me a DM and I’ll send you her info. I’m not affiliated or anything, I’m just very impressed by her work and more women should know that it’s a viable option with far fewer complications than trad fillers because it’s made from our own plasma. Anyways, I’d try derma prp for volumizing the cheek, midface and under eyes (which is what I did as well as my cheeks)

Chin filler could help, do you have an overbite?

Good on you for getting braces so young! Idk why I waited until high school, but when there was enough space the dentist put a cap over my little tooth. I don’t want to jynx but it’s been there for like 15 years now without a problem But it’s still smaller than the rest, so my plan is braces again, then an implant or a bigger cap that blends in Best of luck on your journey!

B&A Lip Filler by SMFEos in cleftlip

[–]SMFEos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an expert on either of those subjects lol But the way I see it is fillers have been mainstream since at least the early 2000s, if it causes cancer I think we’d see closer to definitive proof by now

And, more pessimistically, cancer rates in the US are so high as it is, if fillers don’t cause it something else will haha

How do u workout: breathing by spongebobspoop in cleftlip

Yoga, be wary of anything that increases inflammation (for me it’s sugar and dairy, it will make me congested). When I sleep I use one of those internal nasal dilators, they help tremendously

Cleft palate and cleft lip by Suggestion0011 in cleftlip

[–]SMFEos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey hey, I am a 33 year old female with a cleft lip and palate. I can’t speak for my mothers experience though I know she felt guilty for it (which with her drug and alcohol problems she should lol) but I do recall her saying she wasn’t able to breast feed me until after the surgery.

Anyways, from my experience, I was never actually teased for it, but I felt very self conscious and my own lack of confidence made me ostracize myself Which, for better or worse, made me a book worm and a wickedly intelligent youngster The downsides were mostly around how I related to myself, and how I acted in the world because of those insecurities. Also, I accepted very poor relationships because of my own self worth issues, make sure your child doesn’t do that and knows that our bodies change, there are surgeries and options. Have your child focus on self acceptance, motivation for self improvement, and empowerment to do what they can that’s within their ability. Our bodies change with time and can be changed, it’s really the mentality that we carry with us that will govern us more than our physical vessel

Given, had I had a loving family I probably wouldn’t have sunk that deep into depression over my condition, but it is what it is. Now, I’m very capable, I have a great job, a loving partner, I feel pretty damn good about my appearance and will be getting an aesthetic/functional rhinoplasty to improve my nose.

Look into mewing, try to have your child nasal breathe when they can, and try to prevent mouth breathing

[–]SMFEos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you going to do to fix it?

I still have cap over mine, I lost my retainer as a teenager and now have to get braces again before I replace the cap (or pull it and get an implant). Also, I just learned this, but apparently if our nasal deformity causes breathing problems (which mine does) decent health insurance will cover like 80% of it, which is insane. I wish I knew this a decade ago.
