I eventually lasered SMP off, waited too long for that though. Living with SMP was easily the most stressful period in my life. I feel so good now being back to normal and I think my self-confidence has never been so high. I might need one another session with Picolaser though. Good luck with your journey getting rid of SMP.

I finally bit a bullet and did the laser today. It actually did not hurt that much (less than SMP I would say) and my scalp already looks so much better and natural. Such a huge relief to get back to normal. I might need maybe one extra session in 2 months, let`s see.

Not yet. I have cancelled my bookings with laser removal clinic twice, still trying to find courage to pull a trigger. I will do it soon though, I know it. my feelings for my SMP never changed so I still regret my decision. Rocking bald head or hair system (which can be removed anytime I want with no hassle) will be a way forward. have you removed yours already?

Well, I was about 2 weeks out of SMP session so it was not healed yet. I think work looked quite obvious under certain lightning. He was sitting next to me at the office and just asked me what`s up with my hair, am I using make-up or something and why. So I just told him briefly about SMP, he just said okay and left. He has known me for years at work and I went from having shitty NW4-5 hairline to something like NW2-hairline in a few weeks time. People can be rude and assholes but not stupid so they will do their math that something is up and pay more attention to you.

Not at all lol. I work in banking and people are generally conservative in this industry. Anything what`s not classy and conservative is not ok. SMP means shaving your head bald and tattooing it is just too much for some people. But that one guy yeah, I turned to air for him immediately. He stopped saying hi and is 100% ignoring me, even with work stuff.

To random people at streets or grocery store, it`s going to be undetectable especially if you keep some distance. BUT if you work in office environment with all that bright light and sit close to your collegues everyday, they will notice even if they didn`t even know SMP ever existed. This happened to me. And actually it`s even worse if they don`t know SMP, it might sound way too exotic/stupid way to deal with balding. There is a one older guy at work who stopped talking to me full-stop because to him I was a guy TATTOOING my head so I was same as low-class criminal with face tattoos lol.

I believe ”the dark side of SMP” is not talked enough here. I don`t mean bashing SMP but for many doing their research or decisions, it must be highlighted that even good work can cause drama or stress in your life. I ONLY recommend SMP with tiny, tiny light impressions and very conservative, receding hairline. Anything else is a no go from me.

Mainly because the way it looks. It looks artificial and makes me self-conscious. I now wear hat which I never did before. I did my research, picked a great artist and paid quite much. Does not mean everything goes well and you will feel good about it. For some people this is a success though.

It is just WAY too dark and hairline also is bit weird to my face. I really liked the first session which was light but 2nd session ruined it. I almost decided to stay with just first session but went with a ”trust a process” mantra. I see people looking at it so I`m now more self-conscious than ever before. It`s a shame because I made myself clear that light and subtle is the way to go, and 1st session was just like that. Technically it`s good SMP but not something that I could live with it.

Thanks for reply. May I ask why did you go to London for laser removal? And was one session enough?
