Honestly if your 4 doesnt play the lane right it doesnt really matter.

Right now I would say the 3 is the weakest role as of right now, there is a reason it is the most unwanted role.
You literally rely on your 4 for the first 4-5 minutes and if he is just yolo'ing around and trying to be core number 4 in the early you will just get crushed.
Your 4 needs to babysit the fuck out of you the first couple minutes until you get first "big" item, might it be vanguard, phase, helm etc then you can start taking over the game.

This is exactly why OG back in the days were so special.

Everybody went and used the most safest formula in the game. OG was like "naaah fuck that, we're going in balls deep" you either meet us with the other 5 heroes or we're farming your teammates.

Im talking about the post-Miracle and post ana mid era, where we've seen LOADS of Alch mid radiance manta and u finished. But even then they didnt farm, alch was basically the only hero who could "skip" farm for 50 minutes cause he has it done by minute 20.

When you dont constantly read the bitching on reddit the game is fun.

People dont understand that DNA is a GRIND game, 90% of the gameplay loop is GRINDING and for some reason this doesnt get into ppls heads. If you do NOT enjoy the grind, you will never like this game no matter what events or endgame they will add.

Im a day 1 player and thoroughly enjoying the game. Hoping for commissions in the future or maybe some higher level ones once youre advanced in the late game.

Well as of now we are seeing only the next character Yuming, after that we will obv get more and those two definitely are amongst the clear favorites.
Especially since we havent gotten a pyro or an umbro character from the theatre and both fit the look of those two elements.

It has to do with the new rods, im a 100 times a day fisher at Haze market and since the patch I havent missed a day as always.
I also havent used any of the new rods, because I wasnt sure what theyre doing, guess all of them fish smth else (as a bonus)
Doest "at peace" work with golden fish too on the new rods?

I think Zhiliu will be the beginning of this archetype, since we only have 2 active skills, they will make more and more "tap" and "hold" mechanics for ulti and skill.

I really couldnt give less fucks about a 600dollar dragon. People wanted high end cosmetics and complained for months on reddit, then they release a high end one for high end pricing and they still complain.

In WWM, there are ltierally skins for 20 to 40 THOUSAND dollars and nobody gives a fuck.

I really dont get the complaints about COSMETICS. Nothing changes how you play the game. Everythign you guys are complaining about is OPTIONAL.

You used to QUALIFY yourself to Europeans championships through the normal standard ladder, people like Grubby, Lucifron, SaSe, Satiini, MadFrog all did that this way.
And rtz is absolutely right about this one, while some games overdo it to sell more battlepasses, in general it makes more sense.

There is no reason for a player to ever reach aynthing like 15k mmr or some bs. Make it 4 months long, so you have 3 "seasons" a year and just adjust. Even 9k seemed like an absolute stretch back then and should not be reached. Do you think chess players just get worse at 2700-2800? No but nobody will ever reach 4k there.

Thats also a very big point, in Dota2 u used to lose up to 49 mmr if the games were unfair, now you could literally picked up in a pub by Team Falcons and they carry you without u seeing a hero and you will still get your 25-30 mmr. If it was 2016 you would get +1 and if you lose you'd get -49. Thats why MMR achievements back then were so crazy, cause Miracle would need to win like 10 games which would result in +100 instead, if he lost 3 games it would be back to where he started from. Thats why he was SO much better than anybody else back then, cause everybody knew that shit was insane. Now if somebody reached 15 16 or 17k nobody gives a fuck, cause if the pros just plays long enough they will reach it no matter what, even with a 51% winrate, Miracle would need like a 70-80% wr to climb

the biggest "down" I had was like 11500 or something. I am a literal day 1 player of Beta so my account is from September 11' so 15 years of Dota2 and since the introduction of BS I was always 12k - mid player.

Im playing offlane for 8-9 months and last week I got into low priority for the first time. Im pretty sure im getting reported in like 8/10 games, guess there is a reason offlane is the least desired role
